SHEET A00 - TITLE SHEET AND SITE PLAN 1. Allowances - The amount for the Lighting Allowance as described in Addendum #1 is to be $10, This amount does not include labor, it includes only products as described in detail in the General Notes and the Electrical Fixtures Schedule on Sheet A The native grass mix shown by hatching on the Site Plan is to placed by means of hydromulching methods, not broadcast. SHEET A12 - FLOOR PLAN & DETAILS 1. The two Marquis gas fireplaces are to include the following options and features. a. IPI Ignition System b. Simple on/off model Remote Control c. 1-1/2 Edge Trim Kit - Black d. "Sandstone" Back Liner at Living Room fireplace only e. No log or rock accessories f. Decorative Ember Glass is to be standard White color SHEET A20 - DOOR & WINDOW SCHEDULES, ELEVATIONS, & DETAILS 1. Window Schedule - Pella aluminum clad windows shown are to be Designer Series windows. 2. General Note #8 should read "Interior wood doors are to be 1 3/4" thick stile & rail with single flat panel & minimal moldings. Wood species is to be Cherry. All Finish hardware is to be US26D Brushed Chrome finish. Submit door hardware samples for Architect's review & Owner s approval before ordering. Hardware is to meet ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 requirements, and be warranted against mechanical failure of any kind for a period of not less than two years. All doors are to have handles, not knobs. Hardware is to be selected from Manufacturer's choice of Modern styles" SHEET A21 - ROOM FINISH SCHEDULE & DETAILS 1. Finishes Material Selection List a. Floor Finish F2 12" Floor Tile - The floor tile in the Entry Hall 100 is to be US Natural Slate Multi-Color Porcelain as described in Addendum #1, but instead of the standard 12" square tiles, the tiles in the Entry Hall and Powder Room 105 are to be the 16" x 24" size in a 1/3-running-bond pattern as illustrated by the attached drawing. b. Floor Finish F3 Natural Mix Hickory Wood Floor is to be 2" wide planks. c. Wall Finish W3 Wall Tile - Extend the US Natural Slate Multi-Color Porcelain 16" x 24" tile described in Addendum #1 (Item 1,a) on the west wall of the shower out around the small wing walls and into the cove east of the bathtub in Master Bath 118. d. Related to Item c above, on the recessed wall of the cove east of the bathtub in Master Bath 118, between the two small wing walls, install Natural Slate "Ambientazione realizzata con" multi-color brick 30x30 12"x12" brick tiles. SHEET A60 - INTERIOR ELEVATIONS 1. Correction to Addendum #1, Sheet A60, Item #4 - Interior Elevation B4/A60 "Master Suite East Elevation" - The opening shown in the stone chimney for the television needs to be 28" tall by 40" wide instead of the size shown. 2. Interior Elevation E1/A60 "Kitchen Bar Elevation" - The face of the cabinetry facing the Dining Room is to be 3/4" x 54" wide wood paneling with solid wood trim at joints and edges. 2 endocarps and elbow. The style of the footrest components is to be Modern. SHEET A70 - ELECTRIC POWER & LIGHTING PLAN & DETAILS 1. The chandelier light fixture in the Dining Room is to be controlled by a dimmer switch. 2. The fluorescent tube light fixtures shown near the west end of the Garage are to be deleted. 3. Can type lighting fixtures shown in (6) closets are to be replaced with 4' long fluorescent tube fixtures with wrapped lenses mounted per code requirements. 4. Installation of the (2) gas fireplaces is to include locating and installing the manual on/off control switch supplied by the fireplace Manufacturer. Coordinate final locations with the Owner. Any bid received after the above stated time will be returned to the Bidder unopened. If the bid is faxed, it is to be followed by a signed original within 24 hours delivered to the offices of the Architect. THE UNDERSIGNED, having examined the Drawings and being familiar with all of the conditions relating to the construction of the proposed Project, including the availability of materials and labor, hereby propose to furnish all labor, materials, services, and equipment required in connection with or incidental to the construction of the above referenced Project in strict conformance with the Drawings for the sum of: TOTAL PROJECT BASE BID: ALTERNATES The above Base Bid shall be altered by the following amounts if any of the following alternates are accepted by the Owner: Alternate #1: As an Alternate to the Base Bid, provide a price DEDUCT to delete the east deck including all framing and associated foundations & slabs. Price shall include the replacement of Door with Window P, and the replacement of Window M immediately above with Window Q. Alternate #2: As an Alternate, provide a cost ADD to furnish Pella Designer Series Windows with internal Raiseand-Lower Slimshade Blinds at locations indicated by Window Schedule Sheet A20. 4 If awarded a contract for this Project, Undersigned agrees to provide, within seven (7) days of Contract signing, a COMPLETE list of Sub-Contractors working on the Project. If a Notice to Proceed is received within thirty (30) days after date of this Bid, the Undersigned will substantially complete the Work within calendar days. The Undersigned acknowledges receipt of Addenda #(s). The Undersigned recognizes the Owner s right to waive informalities in the bidding and to accept or reject any or all Bids. Upon receipt of Notice of Award, the Undersigned agrees to submit a formal Contract for the Work within ten (10) days of receipt of such notice.
