Acknowledge receipt of this Addendum in the space provided in the Bid Form and on the County Addendum Acknowledgement Form. Failure to do so may subject Bidder to disqualification. The following items take precedence over reference portions of the specifications and drawings for the above- referenced project, and shall become a part thereof. Where any item called for in the documents is supplemented hereby, the original requirements shall remain in effect. All supplemental conditions shall be considered as added thereto. Where any original item is amended, voided or superseded, hereby, the provisions of such items not so specifically amended, voided or superseded shall remain in effect. Notice to Bidders: Bidders are invited to submit bids for the Project as described in this Document according to the Instructions to Bidders. Project Description: 75,000 sf spec industrial building with tilt-up concrete wall panels, concrete floor, steel columns, steel bar joists and girders, metal roof deck, roof insulation, single ply roof system, storefront, glazing, metal wall panels, dock equipment, roll up doors, exhaust system, electrical panel and lighting, site work. F. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: 1. Single Prime General Contract (all trades). 1.2 BID SUBMITTAL AND OPENING A. Owner will receive sealed bids until the bid time and date at the location indicated below. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows: 1. Bid Date: Tuesday, October 27, Bid Time: 2:00 p.m. local time. 3. Bids will be opened publically. 1.3 PREBID CONFERENCE A. A pre-bid conference for all bidders will be held at the project site, John W. Matthews Industrial Park, Located at the intersection of U.S. 176 and U.S. 301, 5148 Five Chop Road, Cameron, SC on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., local time. Prospective bidders are not required to attend but are strongly encouraged to attend. 1.4 DOCUMENTS Online Procurement and Contracting Documents: Obtain access after September 28, 2015 by logging onto FTP site or accessing the procurement solicitations on the Orangeburg County website at : ftp://ftp.studio2lr.com Login/Username: Password: OrangeburgSpecBid #15009Matthews Login/Username and Password are case sensitive Online access will be provided to prime bidders and their proposed subcontractors. 1.5 TIME OF COMPLETION A. Bidders shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. 1.6 BIDDER'S QUALIFICATIONS A. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work.
