The other recognized qualification# includes a. Architectural & Mechanical degrees recognized by SIA and PEB respectively b. Other Architectural, Civil and Mechanical degrees plus a StS Structural Steel Certificate c. StE Note: For S1-S3, one civil engineer must meet criteria 1. #Criteria 2 is only applicable for S1-S2 whereby subsequent engineer s qualification can either meet criteria 1 or 2. *Civil engineering degrees stated in these two lists: Supervisory Welder Structural Steel Fitter Civil, Structural, Architectural, Building & Mechanical Diplomas, Architectural, Civil and Mechanical degrees, NCCS, StS Structural Steel Certificate and other certificates recognized by SSSS. minimum of 3G level 1. SEC^ in steel fitting or other certificates that are recognized by SSSS 2. In-house issued Structural Steel Fitter competency certificate will be recognized if the firm can demonstrate (with evidences) it has established and implemented an effective training and evaluation structural steel fitting program. ^ Track Records The total steel tonnage should be related to structural steel structures only. Full tonnage recognized if it is a main contract and the contract involve fabrication and erection 50% tonnage recognized if it is a main contract and the contract involve fabrication or erection only 50% tonnage recognized if it is sub-contract and the contract involve fabrication and erection 25% tonnage recognized if it is sub contract and the contract involve fabrication or erection only Note: 1. Only track records of the main contract and 1 st sub-contract are recognized 2.
