2 WALLTEC WALLS are non-load bearing concrete hollowcore walls manufactured under the strictest quality control in our highly automated state of the art factory using a zero slump concrete extrusion process. Since their introduction in the early 1990s, Walltec walls have proven themselves in 13 countries with the strictest standards and requirements on seismic, moisture, fire resistance and sound insulation such as Germany, Finland, Ireland, Spain, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and China under various brand names such as Acotec, WSG, Joe Panel, ECO Wall etc. Its main application is the partitioning in homes and offices, replacing traditional materials used in partitions, party walls and facades such as brick, block, AAC and plasterboard. The versatility of our walls, combined with its high quality finish, strength, and your huge placement performance, make WALLTEC the best solution for your building works. Other applications include cladding, anti-noise screens, compound walls, enclosures and upto 2 storey buildings load bearing walls. Vision To be a company that innovates, commercializes and adapts technologies to provide new ideas, products, and services to build and construct buildings and infrastructure - Better, Faster and more Economically than ever before. 4 ADVANTAGES Economical Walltec walls offer lower initial as well as long-term costs when compared with other materials due to low product costs, elimination of plaster, no curing, no zariwork for conduiting, no lintels, no stone sills, no maintenance, no flaking/cracks, increased carpet area as well as flexibility to move partition walls when required. Lighter weight of the walls (140 kg/m 2 for 92 mm wall and 160 kg/m 2 for 120 mm wall) allows for lower deadweight thus reducing structural steel costs. Ease of Installation & Efficiency Walltec walls are factory made, transported to the site ready to install on pallets and manually erected on concrete floors. Highly versatile and fast to install, requiring just two regular construction workers to install up to 6 m 2 per hour and are precured thus do not require any curing. Can be cut, sawn and dimensioned as per requirement for installation at site. Projects utilizing Walltec walls can save weeks or months over other materials due to no prep work, fast installation, no curing time requirement and time saving with plumbing, electrical and HVAC conduiting. Aesthetically & Functionally Beneficial On account of their factory finish they are aesthetically pleasing. Due to its availability in different heights and thicknesses with no load-bearing application it provides total design flexibility. More carpet area due to lower thickness of 92 mm and 120 mm instead of brick partitions of 150 mm with plaster on both sides. No lintels need to be cast as panels can be place horizontally as lintels where required. Due to its consistent line, length and levels Walltec walls do not require stone or wood sills/frames to level surfaces for windows and openings. Hanging wash-basins, cup-boards, mirrors, paintings with regular plug screws possible and can take as much as 250 kg of load. Drilling, Nailing, Hammering as in any normal brick-plaster wall. Good workability, Less mess in installation, no curing, minimum waste at site and quick installation contribute to better site management. Low Maintenance No problems like leaching of salts from bricks over time. No cracking, flaking of plaster due to one homogeneous material. No plastering means additional saving on time, quality, maintenance etc. Superior strength & durability Strength gradually increases over time with an cube compressive strength of 35 to 40 N/mm 2 and an sectional compressive strength of 20 to 30 N/mm 2. Walls do not deteriorate, experience creep and stress relaxation, lose strength and/or deflect over time. 04

5 Safety & Protection Provides excellent protection against impacts from intrusion, slamming, explosions, vehicles and projectiles. High fire ratings between 120 mins and 180 mins. Sound insulation of 41 to 44 db Have passed tornado/hurricane/heavy rain-sleet-hail impact testing, giving owners an added level of safety assurance in areas prone to severe weather. Consistent Quality Because precast concrete products are typically produced in a controlled plant environment, they exhibit high quality and uniformity. Problems affecting quality typically found on a job site - temperature, curing conditions, craftsmanship and material quality - are nearly eliminated in a plant environment. Environment friendly No curing means massive water savings during construction. Lower raw material used than with other partitions and all raw material composed of natural materials that are nontoxic and environmentally safe. Given green building material status in Singapore, Malaysia and many other countries due to its very low energy used compared to other options. Weather and UV Resistance Walltec walls do not degrade from exposure to sunlight and provide excellent thermal shielding due to the hollows acting as heat sinks. Provides Thermal resistance of 0.4 (m 2 K)/W and better. Plumbing & Electrical Walltec walls have hollows of 53 mm diameter in the 92 mm wall and 74 mm diameter in the 120 mm wall to allow the passage of water pipes, electrical wiring, HVAC and hydraulic installations without making holes/ chases. Painting, Tiling & Cladding Walltec walls thanks to its quality finish, get a horizontal and vertical flatness, without any joint feel. Painting can be done directly or after applying a 2mm wall putty coat. Texture paint coat can be directly applied to external surfaces for decorative effect. All Tiling and Cladding can be directly fixed using regular cement mortar or tile adhesive such as Weber.classic or equivalent. * All values mentioned are estimates. 05

6 INSTALLATION GUIDE Stocking and Transportation - upto two stacks on top of each other, on level ground. Panel stacks should always be lifted from under pallet with a lifting fork or belt. Use trolley, forklift to move full pallet around Individual Walls can easily be moved by a simple wheel or wheel barrow. Use short steel tube (500 mm) into the second hollow as handle. Always transport wall sideways. Gluing agents (cement based adhesive Weber.classic or similar) should be mixed carefully The line of wall is marked to the floor and ceiling before start of installation. Guide boards fixed to the floor and ceiling will align wall when lifting the panels straight into upright position. The gluing agent is spread on the side of the already installed Walltec Walls Before lifting to upright position move panel bottom to its correct position. Afterwards lift wall to upright position. Push wall against wall so tongue and groove align and gluing agent is squeezing out. Correct joint thickness is 1-2 mm. Wedges at bottom and top to correctly position & level wall. Wall height should be mm smaller than free room height. 06

7 Fixing plates used as required to anchor wall panel to top and bottom slab/beam. The top joint is filled with PU foam. Correct thickness of the joint is 5-10 mm. Gluing agent can be used for ceiling joint till glue squeezes out. Correct thickness of joint is 1-2 mm The surplus gluing agent is removed from joints right after installation. Bottom joint is filled with mortar or concrete. Correct thickness of joint is mm. Panels next to door are sawed to fix door top piece. Door top piece is glued using PU foam or gluing agents T & L joints to be strengthened with nail plugs (3/joint). For example HILTI HRD-H. Hollows used for conduiting cables, plumbing and electrical boxes at desired points. Zari work possible as required. 21 Putty Finish before painting. Sawing and drilling easy to do. 07
