1 January th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard Construc on Look Ahead A er months of discussion, the hear elt decision was made to tear down the bridge over 9th Avenue. This decision was discussed at the Community Mee ng on December 5th. Demo will begin shortly a er the first year, and take approximately 3 4 months to complete. During the demo, 9th Avenue will be closed to thru traffic between Colorado Blvd and Bellaire Street. Pedestrian access will be available via Albion Street, 10th Avenue and Ash Street, through Hale Park. RTD is temporally rerou ng buses down Bellaire Street and 8th Avenue. We encourage drivers to use 8th Avenue and Hale Parkway during demoli on.

2 Community Mee ng & Holiday Recep on Thank you to everyone who a ended the Community Mee ng and Holiday Recep on on Wednesday, December 5. The event was a ended by about 80 people. Frank Cannon gave a presenta on on the past, present and future of 9+CO answering everyone s ques ons. The event was catered by Krave Colorado Catering. As with any development and construc on project, there will be instances where the surrounding neighborhood could be impacted (i.e. traffic altera ons, noise, etc.). The 9 th and Colorado team will strive to keep everyone informed of upcoming ac vi es that may impact you. We will make efforts to iden fy major upcoming ac vi es, but please recognize that the 9 th and Colorado redevelopment is a large and complex effort and there will be mes where construc on ac vi es and logis cs change. 3 Block 7 East Building, Saunders has completed all seven levels of the concrete slabs for the East side of the building. On the West side of the building we will concentrate on finishing the concrete slabs at levels eight and nine. Thermax insula on installa on on the exterior of the building is finishing on levels two through four and advancing on to level five. The installa on of windows has begun, we finished level two and con nue to make our way through levels three and four. Installa on of the masonry block for the exterior of the building is s ll ongoing at the west wing, courtyard and beginning the North side. Interior framing & rough ins for electrical and mechanical (plumbing and hea ng) are finishing up at level three and will carry on to level four. Level 1: Areas A, B, C: The installa on of drywall for individual units is s ll ongoing. We are star ng the installa on of the glass curtain wall at the Ameni es area. In the WRAP Building, Work at the elevator concrete is now complete. The installa on of the elevator to will con nue. Steel placement has started and will con nue on throughout January. 4 Block 4 (Northwest) Sidewalk closure on south side of 9 th Ave. at the corner of Colorado Blvd. will be through February Sidewalk on east side of Colorado Blvd. will be closed star ng early November through September Level 6 of the parking structure concrete work is in progress, one more deck to pour before steel erec on starts on the south side. Electrical and Mechanical rough in work will con nue throughout. Block 2 (South) Covered sidewalk on the north side of 8 th Ave will be in place through February Exterior framing and sheathing are nearing comple on on Level 2. Roofing is scheduled to start mid January, tying in the envelope. Structural steel fireproofing and Electrical and Mechanical rough in work will con nue throughout.
