2 INSTALLATION MANUAL 2 Pure Click 40 is a Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT), designed for residential use. Pure Click 55 may be used in both residential and commercial settings, including shops and hotel rooms. Please carefully read and follow these installation instructions for best results. 1. PREPARATION 48h F TRANSPORT AND STORAGE Cartons should only be transported and/or stored horizontally on a flat surface. When storing cartons, do not stack more than 5 high. It is important to allow the product to acclimate for at least 48 hours at room temperature (64-77 F) prior to installation. This temperature should be maintained throughout the installation and at least 24 hours following its completion. Storage: Click vinyl planks must be stored inside, horizontally on a flat surface. TOOLS clean dry even hard Trimming knife, saw or guillotine, pencil, T-square, tape measure and spacers. SUBFLOOR Careful subfloor preparation is essential for best results. A rough subfloor or one the flatness deviation of which exceeds 1/8 per 3 3 may telegraqh through the new floor, resulting in an unsightly surface and cause excessive wear on high spots or indentation on lower spots. max. 1/8 per 3 3 max. 1/8 Remove all plaster, paint, glue, oil, grease, nails, the subfloor must be clean, flat, dry and stable. Remove textile floor coverings (e.g. carpet, needlefelts,...). Remove all debris and vacuum. Click vinyl planks may be installed over concrete, tiles, wood and most existing hard surface floor coverings, provided that the subfloor is smooth, dry and clean. Although click vinyl planks are moisture proof, subfloors must be inspected for moisture problems. If moisture is detected in the subfloor, then it will need to be prepped with a sealant. Excessive moisture can generate mould or fungus. The maximum allowed surface flatness deviation should not exceed more than 1/8 per 3 3. If the subfloor deviates more than 3 3, it should first be leveled with a suitable filler or levelling compound and check if a sealer is needed. Contact your local dealer if you are not certain about the quality or suitability of your subfloor for installation of Click vinyl planks. 3 3 max. 5/

3 3 max. 80 F Floor heating Click vinyl planks are compatible with floor heating, provided that the temperature does not exceed 80 F. Switch off the floor heating 24 hours prior to and during installation and also during the installation. The installation completed, allow the floor to acclimate for 24 hours. Gradually increase the floor heating with 5 daily, until max 80 F floor temperature. In case of electrical floor heating, you should not exceed 60W/m². The subfloor construction (surface) of the heating system must be hard. MOISTURE METER Cement <3% CM CaSo 4 <0,5% CM Preparation concrete / screed subfloor Let new concrete dry sufficiently. Allow a new slab to properly cure. The subfloor s moisture content on the subfloor must be less than 75 RH at min 68 F. Max 3% in case of cement and 0,5% in case of anhydrite. Always record and keep the moisture content results. Repair surface imperfections with an appropriate repair compound and check if a primer or sealer is needed. Vacuum the subfloor afterwards to remove all debris. 13/64 Preparation in case of tile subfloor Check the subfloor for moisture problems. The grouts of a ceramic tile subfloor do not need to be filled in if they do not exceed 5/32 in depth and 13/64 in width. 5/32 Never allow the joint of 2 click vinyl planks to align exactly over a grout of the exisiting tile subfloor! 7 Preparation in case of wooden subfloor Check the floor for the presence of insects. Make sure the subfloor is level and nail down any loose sections. UNDERLAY We recommend the use of a dedicated LVT underlay to reduce the transmission of walking and transition sounds, and to increase the floor s overall acoustical performance. In wet rooms such as bathrooms, we recommend installing a 2mil polyethylene moisture barrier. in case your subfloor is not water resistant (e.g. wooden beams)

4 4 2. PRECAUTIONS 7 Batch number Click vinyl planks are not suitable for use outside, in solariums or saunas. Avoid extended exposure to direct sunlight, which can lead to extremely hot topical temperatures, as well as very strong temperature fluctuations. These conditions may damage your vinyl floor. Do not install the product in rooms that are not temperature controlled (min. temp. not below 40 F and not above 140 F). Room temperature always needs to be kept below 140 F. You don t need to use expansion profiles. Inspect all planks for visible defects in optimal light conditions, before and during installation. Planks with defects must not be used. Make sure that you mix planks from 3 different cartons to minimize shade variations. This will ensure a more natural looking floor. For tiles : only use single production batch number for each installation. Always keep the production batch number (printed on the box), with your order form / invoice. 3. INSTALLATION Inspect the planks to make sure they are defect free prior to installing them. Click vinyl planks should be installed floating, meaning that the floor can move in any direction, having enough space to all walls or any fixed object, i.e. not to be screwed or nailed down to the subfloor. Kitchen cabinets, fireplaces etc, may not be installed on top of the flooring. 13/64 5/16 13/64 Measure the room to obtain a balanced lay-out. Measuring will allow you to determine if the first row needs to be cut. The first and last row should be at least 13/64 wide. If the first row of planks does not need to be trimmed in width, you must remove the locks on the side that faces the wall. It is important to leave a 5/16 mm expansion gap around the total perimeter of the floor and around columns, pipes, thresholds etc. We recommend not to install this product in rooms that are not temperature controlled between 40 and 140 F. Mix planks from 3 different cartons to minimize shade variations. This will ensure a more natural looking floor. For tiles, it is necessary to use one single batch number.

5 5 Do not use a hammer to tap planks together. Cut planks with a box cutter, with the decor side facing up. PLANKS 5/16 8 mm /16 mm 4 Always ensure that the short end joints ar staggered minimum 10 (= 3 tabs) when you start the next row. Use the leftover piece from the previous row as the first piece of the next row, provided that this piece is at least 10 long. In order to find a connection with the locking tabs of the previous row, it may be necessary to cut off an extra part of the leftover piece. Click vinyl planks planks can be installed in several patterns. TILES 5/16 5/16 7 7/ /8 First click short side, then long side of your tile 3 4 Always ensure that the short end joints are staggered a minimum of 7 7/8 (= 2 tabs) when you start the next row. Use the leftover piece from the previous row as the first piece of the next row, provided that this piece is at least 7 7/8. In order to find a connection with the locking tabs of the previous row, it may be necessary to cut off an extra part of the leftover piece.

6 6 The click elements of the new row must be positioned exactly in the middle of two tabs of the previous row. From the second row onwards, always connect the short side first and then the long side. To install the last row, position a plank exactly on top of the last row installed. Place another plank upside down up to the wall and mark the plank on the bottom. Cut the marked plank to size, and lock into place. Repeat for each plank until the final row is complete. Undercut door jambs by laying a plank face down next to the door moulding. Saw the plank, then slide the plank under the door jamb. 4. FINISHING Never attach wallbases to the floor itself, neither with glue nor silicone. 5. MAINTENANCE Consider saving a few planks in the event of future repairs. DOORMATS To keep your floor in good condition, it is important to place non rubber backed doormats at all entrances, to prevent dirt or grit being carried into the house and onto your floor. Wiping footwear on doormats upon entry will remove most abrasive particles that may otherwise damage the floor. Do not use rubber backed mats, as longlasting contact with rubber can cause permanent stains. Rolling office chairs, furniture legs, fitness machines, should be fitted with non-rubber casters, to avoid permanent damage to your floor. Use soft, non rubber felt protector pads under the feet of furniture and chair legs. CLEANING Initial Cleaning First remove all dirt and dust from the floor with a brush or vacuum cleaner. Then clean with water and a neutral appropriate cleaner for PU vinyl floors, at least twice and until the water stays clean. Overall we strongly recommend to use PU vinyl floors cleaner. Any other cleaner may contain agents that damage resilient floor surfaces. The coating of the toplayer voids the need for extra floor treatments following the installation. Regular cleaning instructions Vacuum or wet mop. Use when required a solution of clean water and mild detergent or domestic floor cleaner. We strongly recommend to use an appropriate cleaner for PU floors as other products may damage your flooring surface. Do not pour water over the floor or leave a puddle of water on the floor. Rinse thoroughly and soak up residual water. NB: the floor can feel more slippery when wet. Spots, marks and spillages should be wiped up as soon as possible. Do not use chlorinated solvents. Never use wax or varnish coating. Never use maintenance products that contain wax or oil.

7 7 6. WARRANTY INFO AND CONDITIONS Warranty for first user: Pure Click planks are under normal conditions of use against any manufacturing defects from their date of sale to the original customer. This warranty covers all abnormal wear of this product, given that Pure Click planks are installed and maintained in accordance with the instructions provided. This warranty covers the replacement of Pure Click planks determined as defective with equivalent- or similar-quality Pure Click planks from the product line existing at the time of the claim. This warranty does not involve a financial reimbursement under any circumstances or costs of removal or installation. This warranty does not cover: Normal wear and tear Any mechanical damage or other alteration caused by use not in accordance with the Beauflor installation instructions The occurrence of accidents, misuse or abuse Damage caused by using incorrect cleaning methods or unsuitable detergents Damage due to heavy chairs or furniture: it is recommended that you use felt pads under chairs and furniture to reduce the possibility of surface scratching and marking Damage due to sand or grit: it is recommended to use doormats on the inside and outside of all external doorways to prevent grit from being carried around across the floor Damage due to scratching Installation of any other pattern as described under point Installation When noticing a defect, contact your dealer within 2 weeks with your original purchase receipt.
