2 Introduction This exercise has been designed to allow the instructor to choose a chemical that is relevant to the trainees. 3 onducting the exercises This is a performance measure to be completed by each trainee. Review the NIOSH Pocket Guide, following the instructor guidance for the program you are teaching. Distribute the Worksheets and Guides. Provide the trainees with the situation, and have them complete the Worksheet in about 15 minutes. ollect the Worksheets for grading. Review the correct answers as a class activity. Some trainees may wish to have another Worksheet to record the answers. Grading the Worksheets Please note that an example of a Graded Student Worksheet is included in this packet. Review the entries of all participants. Mark a large X next to any incorrect answer, including any subparts. For example, Question 4 has eight parts that need to be graded. What to do with the worksheets after grading This exercise is part of successful completion for the program, and the results must be reported to NIEHS. Please forward the forms to UK so that tracking of trainee responses can be made across training centers, by question. What to do if errors are found in the exercise ommunicate errors immediately to your program director, who will forward them to the University of incinnati.
