5 Fastening Systems Overview Avery Dennison Specialty Tape Division provides high quality foil and insulation tapes for the HVAC/R, Mechanical Insulation and Metal Building Insulation industries, including FASSON-brand tapes that meet or exceed UL 181A-P and UL 181B-FX standards. Contractors can choose from a complete line of plain foil, FSK, ASJ, film and cloth duct tapes, classified in accordance with UL 723. These closure tapes are well suited for delivering a fast, permanent bond and creating a moisture barrier for sealing ductboard, flexible duct and insulation facings. For Best Results FASSON-brand tapes adhere best on clean dry surfaces. For a strong bond, maintain tension when applying tape and then squeegee tape flat.
