25 Bullet Resistant Fiberglass Armor Ballistic Fiberglass is Multi-Ply with a Polyester Resin Binder. This configuration allows bullets to be imbedded within the plies of the Fiberglass as opposed to ricocheting like steel or aluminum armor. Ballistic Fiberglass weighs much less than steel armor while matching the performance. Reinforcement of existing stud wall construction is not necessary and fiberglass can be cut, drilled, and worked using basic carpentry tools. Ballistic Fiberglass can also be incorporated within millwork panels, doors, and existing walls or counters.
