Depending on the slope of the roof, it must be determined whether a water-d or solvent-d coating system should be applied. These monolithic, AP-3100 AP-3200 sustainable roofing systems will yield a final minimum membrane thickness of AP mils throughout the field of the roof and 45 mils at the reinforced area. LOW SLOPE COATINGS AP-5100 AP-5100W Asphalt Roofing System finish Armour Ply 30 Fully Reinforced System AP-5200 existing asphalt primer fabric finish coat These systems are fluid-applied, fully reinforced membrane designed for application to a variety roof substrates. The polyester fabric is used at the critical areas and the entire roof. These systems will provide a fully adhered, seamless and reinforced membrane system throughout SPECIALTY COATINGS AP-6100 AP-6200 AP-6300 WALL COATINGS the roof with superior weatherability. 5 Case Studies Charlton School, Caesar Rodney School District EPDM Armour Ply 30 Fully Reinforced System AP-1200 Single-Ply Cleaner/Primer AP-5100 Moisture Cure Polyurethane Silver AP-5100W Moisture Cure White AP-1400 Silane/Siloxane Waterproofing This roof was specified by Studio JAED Architects, requiring a 15-year NDL warranted, fully reinforced, Urethane/ Silicone hybrid system over EPDM. The roof was cleaned using our AP-1200 Single-Ply Cleaner/Primer, and then all the penetrations were reinforced using AP-5100 Moisture Cure Polyurethane coating and AP-8100 Polyester Fabric. Next, AP-5100 Moisture Cure Polyurethane Silver and AP-8100 Polyester Fabric were applied to the field of the roof. Once dry, 1 coat of AP-5100 Silver was applied, followed by 1 coat of AP-5100W Moisture Cure Polyurethane White. Finally, to complete this system, our AP-1400 Silane/Siloxane Waterproofing coating was applied to 2 sections of brick walls where moisture was penetrating. Jeffers Circle BUR Armour Ply 30 Fully Reinforced System AP-1300 Primer/Sealer AP-3100 Acrylic Base Coat AP-3200 Acrylic Finish Coat This was an old Built-Up Roof that we had been repairing for the past 12 years. The owners decided it was time to install a fully reinforced liquid membrane system. The contractor cleaned the roof, applied our AP-1300 Primer/ Sealer and reinforced the penetrations and expansion joints using AP-3100 Base Coat and AP-8100 Polyester Fabric. To complete this project, AP-3100 Base Coat and AP-8100 Polyester Fabric were applied to the entire roof, and 2 coats of AP-3200 Finish Coat were applied. Meridian Terminal, Teterboro Airport EPDM Armour Ply 20 Partially Reinforced System AP-1200 Single-Ply Cleaner/Primer AP-3100 Acrylic Base Coat AP-6100 Modified Liquid Rubber Autumn Ridge Hypalon Armour Ply 20 Partially Reinforced System AP-1200 Single-Ply Cleaner/Primer AP-2200 Moisture Cure Polyurethane Mastic AP-5100 Moisture Cure Polyurethane Silver This was a fully adhered EPDM roof with multiple leaks coming from the penetrations and seams. The contractor cleaned the roof with our AP-1200 Single-Ply Cleaner/Primer to prepare the roof for the liquid membrane system. The seams and penetrations were reinforced with AP-3100 Acrylic Base Coat and AP Polyester Fabric to protect to these vulnerable areas. Once dry, 2 coats of AP-6100 Modified Liquid Rubber were applied to the entire roof, providing a white, monolithic membrane. To respond to areas on the roof where water was ponding, 2 coats of AP-6100 Gray Modified Liquid Rubber were applied. In conclusion, this white, highly reflective, monolithic system solved all of Teterboro's concerns and extended the life of their EPDM roof. The existing Hypalon roof of Autumn Ridge Apartments had minor leaks at seams and penetrations. The contractor cleaned the roof using our AP-1200 Single-Ply Cleaner/Primer, and then reinforced the seams and penetrations with AP-5100 Moisture Cure Polyurethane Silver and AP-8100 Polyester Fabric. They also applied AP-2200 Moisture Cure Polyurethane Mastic around the scupper boxes. Once dry, they completed this system by applying 2 coats of AP-5100 Silver to the roof
