We produce doors specifically designed for enhanced fire protection, superior acoustical performance, and high-traffic applications. Wood is a practical choice. Quality Frames The Maiman Company offers a complete line of non-rated and fire-rated wood frames to compliment our doors.

As with doors, the non-rated and fire-rated door frames have the same aesthetic appearance. Select door frames to match the door species or to provide contrast.

Factory machined custom panel designs are available. Grain and color can be matched for compatibility.

3 Quality Frames The Maiman Company offers a complete line of non-rated and fire-rated wood frames to compliment our doors. Choose a non-rated, 20 minute, or 45/60/90 minute firerated door frame (positive or neutral pressure) for your project needs. As with doors, the non-rated and fire-rated door frames have the same aesthetic appearance. Select door frames to match the door species or to provide contrast. The Stile and Rail Door Maiman doors meet or exceed the Window and Door Manufacturers Association (WDMA) I.S. 6A-13 and the Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWS) 2nd Edition standards for premium and custom grade architectural quality doors. Factory machined custom panel designs are available. Grain and color can be matched for compatibility. A number of prefinishing options ranging from staining to priming, so you are never limited to a set of standard colors for your Stile and Rail doors. Fire-Rated Protection The Maiman Company has long been an industry leader in the research and manufacture of classic Stile and Rail fire-rated wood doors. In fact, Maiman manufactured the world s first patented 45, 60 and 90 minute Stile and Rail fire-rated doors. Maiman has also developed a 20 minute door with a maximum of 2695 square inches of glass, a corresponding 20-minute jamb and a 90-minute wood jamb in singles and pairs. Fire-rated products are available in hundreds of different wood species. Flat panels are available in 20 through 90 minute ratings. They are manufactured according to UL s exact specifications and carry their certification labels. Frame requirements: Doors must be installed in listed 20 or 90 minute wood frames or rated hollow metal or aluminum frame per NFPA 80 Installation: All trimming, fitting, and installation must be in accordance with NFPA 80 Vast array of machining options available on fire-rated doors Wood jambs: Available in 20, 45, 60 and 90 minute Glazing: Amount varies by rating in accordance with NFPA 80 Positive pressure fire doors available in all fire-ratings, and both categories A & B Smoke labels available Sound Reduction In hospitals, schools, healthcare facilities, recording studios, government and military offices or a wide variety of other applications, Maiman s Sound Transmission Class (STC) rated acoustical doors have proven themselves time and again to be effective for sound reduction and are available in all standard panel raised and sticking options.
