A tentative scope, specification, of the proposed Flag Dome Structure can be downloaded from our web site (Media Release) for reference. Techno-commercial proposal for execution of the above Work is required to be submitted, so as to reach undersigned in the address given below latest by by Registered Post / Speed Post only during office hour. The Technical bid should contain the Concept Plan, Credentials of the Firm, list of work completed and presently in hand, copies of Company registration, Clearance Certificate VAT-612, PAN, Valid EPF Registration Certificate, copy of balance sheet (certified by a Chartered Accountant). Documentary evidence in support of firm having experience in execution of similar nature of works along with works in hand is also required to be submitted along with the Technical Bid. The Financial bid is to be submitted in a separate closed envelope clearly marked Financial Bid for Design, Manufacture, Supply & Erection of Flag- Dome structure on the roof terrace of New High Court Building at Cuttack and both the Technical & Financial offer packets should be put inside one packet super scribing on the top Expression of Interest for Design, Manufacture, Supply & Erection of Flag-Dome structure on the roof terrace of New High Court Building at Cuttack. A Demand Draft amounting 2% of the offer value drawn in favour of Orissa Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation payable at Bhubaneswar is to be enclosed as EMD along with the financial bid. Bidders must have minimum turnover of Rs Lakhs per annum at least in any one year within last three financial years. The technical bid will be opened on at A.M in the office chamber of the undersigned in presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. If the office happens to be closed on the last date of receipt or opening of the EOI, the schedule date will be shifted to the next working date at the same time and venue. Short listed firms qualified for opening of financial bid would be required to present their concept plan through Power Point Presentation before the Committee for final selection of the concept plan. 3 Indicative Scope of the Work 1. Designing, supply and fixing of Flag-Dome Structure on roof-terrace of the proposed High Court building at Cuttack including all cost of drawing, design, manufacture, supply, erection, Vetting of the Structural Design by a Structural Engineer nominated by IDCO. 2. The Flag Dome structure is to be built at 46 mtr from ground level with steel structure to be fabricated from square and rectangular hollow section of TATA steel or equivalent make as per shape indicated in the approved architectural drawing. 3. The base of the structure shall be of minimum 4.5 x4.m mtr and height of the structure shall be 7 mtr from the fixing level from terrace. 4. The steel structure has to be designed and erected confirming to IS -800/2007 and IS-875 (part-iii) 1987 codes and practices. 5. Necessary arrangement to be made to install one flag post in the structure as per BIS code with mechanical arrangement to operate the post for hoisting flags on regular basis. 6. The flag post to be designed to hold the flag as per code prescribed by Flag Code of India. The top of dome to be fitted with necessary arrangement for providing electrically operated shutter to access to operate the hoisting of flag. 7. Outer side of the steel structure is to be cladded with composite-aluminum panels of min 4 mm thick of approved shade and in design to be provided with internal paneling of the structure with block board min 10 mm thick of approved make including proper insulation. 8. Permanent staircase provisions are to be incorporated in side the steel-dome for flag-man to access the top of the dome for hoisting mm thick poly-vinyl anti static flooring is to be provided through out the staircase (Treads, Risers and Landings).Under layer to the flooring will be 12mm BWP ply of approved make. 10. In side of the dome structure is to be provided with 10 mm BWP Block Board on aluminum sub frame structure. The board is to be painted with 2 coats of acrylic emulsion paint over a coat of wood primer. General Terms and Condition. 1.The selected agency has to execute an agreement with IDCO as per the Standard Terms and Condition. 2. The time period of completion of the work is 30 days from the date of issue of work order. For every day of delay beyond the stipulated date of completion, Rs.5000/day will be imposed on the executant. 3. 5% of the bill value will be kept withheld till the end of defect liability period ie 1year from the actual date of completion. All taxes and cess will be deducted from the bill. 4. No intermittent payment will be made. Final payment will be made after successful completion of the work. 5. The selected firm has to submit the vetted design and drawing within 10 days of issue of LOA. The date of commencement will begin from the 11 th day of issue of LOA.
