Wall tie or suitable fixing is essential. Foil faced insulants are not suitable for this application. Partial-Fill Cavity Wall Used where small residual cavity is needed to avoid risk of rain penetration. Residual cavity must be an absolute minimum of 25mm. Suitable for all insulants. 6 166 Rockwool HP Partial Fill Cavity Slabs Comprise a robust outer surface (designed to withstand on site rigours ) engineered to a resilient inner face (designed to absorb irregularities of the inner leaf). The robust surface maintains a more clearly defined cavity whilst the resilient inner surface eliminates stand off from the inner leaf, maximising thermal performance. Due to the nature of the material, the slabs will knit together when tightly butt jointed. Extraneous heat loss caused by gaps is eliminated ensuring a thermally efficient system. Roofmate RL-X boards provide a lightweight, rigid substrate beneath light-coloured single-ply polymeric membranes on flat or low slope metal decked roofs. Condensation is one of the building industries biggest challenges, wool absorbs and buffers moisture hence is your safeguard against condensation. 14 174 Acoustic Protection Wallcomp Wallcomp is a 43mm thick acoustic insulation product designed to combat airborne noise transmission through internal stud walls. It consists of a mass barrier inside a double layer of thermo-bonded polyester fibre. One of the sides is self-adhesive but can be supplied plain if required. On a 100mm overall thickness stud wall with 20kg/m 2 it gives an sound insulation improvement of 10dB. 15 Acoustic Flanking Strip A 10mm thick cross-linked, closed cell polyolefin foam strip which is designed to reduce the transmission of flanking sound around the perimeter of acoustically isolated floor systems.
