3 General

4 Renault Store / Technical specifications for Tour of vehicle area / General 4 Introduction Clearly defined by floor markings, the Tour of vehicle area is a standardised zone in the workshop on which the customer s vehicle is parked. This is the space in which the Service advisor, accompanied by the customer, carries out the tour of the vehicle and establishes the nature of the work to be done. The area must be covered, spacious and well lit so that the tour of the vehicle can be performed easily and the vehicle inspected with precision. The Tour of vehicle area must be directly accessible from the After-Sales Reception, whether this is integral with or separate from the showroom. This area comprises several components which are combined according to the available surface area: - The grey wall or suspended panel - The communications message - The floor markings

32 Renault Store / Technical specifications for Tour of vehicle area / Technical principles 32 Technical specifications Prerequisites: - The area must be directly accessible from the Showroom Standard rules: - At least 1 location per Service Advisor, adjacent to the customer reception area - Dimensions of 4x6 m, covered, lit - The «vehicle protection» display module must be present in this area Bonus features: - 1 Lift to carry out additional checks - 1 Shock absorber test bench Reuirement details The purpose of the descriptive information provided below is to define the various aesthetic and technical parameters to be taken into account by the supplier in the design and implementation of the structures. This technical analysis is necessary due to the numerous requirements relating to raw materials, manufacturing methodology, as well as logistics and fitting. DISCLAIMER: requirements are specified for information purposes only, the production of the structures remains the responsibility of suppliers. The communications message This component indicates the area to the driver and invites them to park. Depending on the layout of the site, this communications message shall be stuck to a painted wall or a panel hung over the area. The floor markings The area will be marked out by floor paint and floor markings. These markings are required to: - Set out a spot for the customer s vehicle (yellow setsquare markings) - Welcome customers («Welcome» message) - Invite customers to do a tour of the vehicle with the service advisor (message: «Tour of vehicle area»). Compliance of visuals and colours All shades have a satin finish with 40% gloss. Particular attention should be paid to complying with the colour code. Colour and material samples shall be provided for approval before production launch. The rendering of each of the shades in day and night-time conditions shall be assessed, in particular when used on two different materials. Production principle Visuals must comply with the official images of these technical requirement specifications (CCTP). The supplier must submit production drawings for approval, accompanied by all descriptions of sub-assemblies integrated into the components. Based on the main principles defined in these specifications, the supplier is expected to provide recommendations regarding the choice of materials and the means implemented to comply with the dimensions and aesthetic aspects defined in this document. Variants The supplier is required to provide a definition of components as described in the drawings document. Nevertheless, the submission of low-cost variants is desired and expected. When the supplier deems it appropriate, they may submit variants to RENAULT to the procedures or methods described in the definition document, as long as these variants correspond to the aesthetic requirements set out and can be used homogeneously on various families of components

33 Renault Store / Technical specifications for Tour of vehicle area / Technical principles 33 Technical specifications to ensure in particular a comparable ageing of colours, along with the expected guarantees. By way of example, any reshaping of component surfaces, different ways of connecting the subassemblies, or changes in materials, decoration or painting procedures, must be reported. Protection of goods and persons In particular, the supplier is responsible for the calculation, sizing and operational implementation of structural components, such that they offer good resistance over time, and that the safety of the public who come into direct contact with these components is not placed at risk (in particular for free-standing components). Technical study The supplier shall analyze this definition file, draft a technical summary and produce a folder of production drawings to submit to RENAULT for approval. The samples of materials and colours shall be attached to this folder. A specific schedule for the project shall be established, identifying the passage and validation points expected by Renault. Following validation of the production folder, the supplier shall proceed with industrial launch, in particular for tools used for implementation. The first batch for each component shall be assembled by the supplier for presentation to Renault and validation where appropriate. Mass production Following first-batch validation and the potential communication of desired changes, the supplier will receive agreement for the launch of the series production of the components. The supplier shall then produce the components in full compliance with the production folder submitted and the accepted pre-production components. Warranty A one-year warranty against any production and installation defects is requested. First batch production
