Approach to Developing Master Plan Utilized previously developed plans, surveys, etc. to create current Master Plan Draft Reviewed current capacity Example current parking ~130 spaces accommodates parking for ~300 people Sanctuary seats comfortably Class room space ~450 Adult ~270 Youth ~90 Children ~90 Nursery (including adults)

Approach to Developing Master Plan Conclusion facility relatively balanced Without obtaining additional parking space we are limited to ~ people at facility at any given time Can be increased some for special events if we leverage parking at Orrstown Bank, other remote parking, Special permission from Prince Street Church, etc. We have adequate classroom space We lack multiple purpose room space for dining, AWANA game time, play areas, etc. Maintaining existing facilities is a priority Annex and Main Church Time to put some additional dollars toward needed maintenance and to improve appearance. Examples include carpet installed in the 1960s, no major painting in sanctuary for ~25 years, main roof and exterior walls in Annex require attention

Approach to Developing Master Plan (Continued) We then reviewed each major facility (Main Church, Crossroads Station (firehouse) and Annex Identified major facility needs / improvements Determining priority In process of estimating cost Preparing final recommendation and cost over the next several months

Church Facility Main Sanctuary will remain structurally the same Plaster/Paint (medium priority) Sanctuary carpet (medium) re-upholster pews (medium) woodwork refinish (baseboards/doors) (medium) stain glass (replace smoke glass with clear glass) bathroom (upgrade) 5 bathrooms west entrance stair lift (in process) Tear down existing garage (high) Church Entrances Replace back doors now structural issues (high) Upgrade entrances Office Area Create a small private waiting area (low) Provides much needed upgrade to our main church area

. Beautiful Sanctuary but needs some maintenance

Church Carpet needs repair or replaced

Sanctuary needs plaster repair and Painted

Annex Annex (high priority) Fix roof issue / add pitch roof, insulate (movement/replacement of heat/ac) Repair wood damage Minor Remodeling Eliminate ceiling tiles paint ceiling open area black Eliminate carpet epoxy / tile flake Remodel bathrooms General painting Build garage for van (one oversize garage with storage area funded) Kitchen is adequate Taking this low cost approach provides immediate and long term benefits for ministries such as college functions, Kinetics, Kitchen of Grace, Smaller Group functions as AA, blood drives, showers, etc. Minor remodeling could be accomplished via Trustee led church projects

Things that need fixed in Annex Outside repairs

Things that need fixed in Annex Roof leakage and ceiling repair / remove tiles fix roof and go to black painted open space like you see in many newer restaurants Remove carpet / use existing tiles or epoxy type finish

Things that need fixed in Annex Annex Painting repairs needed

Crossroads Station Ground Floor (medium) (current bays) make this a large open area with kitchen, storage and bathrooms kitchen will be galley kitchen at least comparable to church kitchen Possibly walled off with large opening / serving windows Bring floor up in bay areas to create level floors throughout the area. No support posts. Use steel beams to create open space Maintain current classroom and entry as is add handicap access to building maintain the high ceilings Possible addition of a/c Provide a much needed large open space for church meals, get togethers, outreach events, etc.

Add Photos of classroom / entry way CRS - Ground Floor.

Crossroads Station Add-on Bay Multi-purpose room / small gymnasium (lowest priority based on cost) replace add-on bay area (current AWANA game area) with multi purpose building Creates open floor multi purpose building for AWANA games, recreation, extended dining area, any large informal gatherings

AWANA Game Square space is extremely tight.

Next Steps Continue to work on priority items using building fund Estimate cost Prepare final recommendation with cost over the next several months Propose final recommendation at November Congregational meeting (or sooner)
