Cum Compaction of earthwork in embankments as per specification of MDD as determined by IS 2720 (Part VIII), 1983 by mechanical means in layers not exceeding 30 cm including carrying out field test as per FQA plan and technical specification to achive 96% to 98% Dgree of compaction. Cum Extra lead beyond 500 m and upto 2 km for transporting the earth from villagers pond or of the locallity of ROB approaches in bridge No. 48, 54, 55, in MGR route of NTPC-Sipat. The contractor has to arrange earth from own cost. Cum Supplying, laying and compacting good quality moorum available from quarry source of adjoining Bilaspur and Korba Dist. Having minimum PI value of 10 including transportation, leading excavating, royalty charges etc. Maximum acceptable PI value of moorum is 20 to be reduced to upto 10 PI value by bleding coarse sand of zone-ii by 10 to15%. The rate is inclusive of cost of sand including bleding, rolling watering etc to get 95 to 98 % degree of compaction.
