Please not the following change for the General Special Provisions Item 7 Delete: Construction layout shall be carried out by the Contractor Add: The construction layout shall be done by the Contract Administrator for all structures, valves, curb& gutter once before the start of the construction. The contractor shall be responsible to maintain the construction layout throughout the contract. 2. The scope of work for tender item no. SA5 includes the separation of sanitary service for the house number 543 and 549 on 7 th Avenue. These properties are currently serviced by a common line, a new service for house number 543 on 7 th avenue shall be installed with the tie-in approximately 2.4m beyond the property line and the existing line will service the house number 549 only. 3. Changes to Form of Tender: a. The quantity for item 6 has changed from 3,300 t to 4,560 t to include granular material for sidewalk and driveways b. The quantity for item 7 has changed from 800 t to 1,255 t to include asphalt for the boulevard and driveways. c. The quantity for ST2 has changed from 16 each to 17 each d. The quantity for ST3 has changed from 77 m to 260 m to include all the 300 mm storm water laterals e. A new line item W12 for watermain testing has been added. An updated form of tender has been attached to this addendum which will replace the form of tender in original tender document Questions from the plan takes 1. What is the class of HDPE pipe to be used for storm water pipe installation Answer: Armtec Boss 2000 or equal

2 2. Any chance we could have closing extended to the following Friday May the 4th? Answer: A closing date extension is not possible 3. What type of cathodic protection should be used for joints? Answer: The cathodic protection shall be as per OPSS 702 and use zinc caps. 4. Can we get the list of Plan Takers?
