1 EDS Upgrades and CBRA Improvements Addendum No. 1 DATE OF ADDENDUM: 08/05/2016 The following changes, additions, and/or deletions are considered as Addendum No. 1, and are hereby made a part of the contract documents. All bidders are required to base their bid upon the information furnished in this addendum; and as required in the contract documents. The Contractor is required to acknowledge Addendum No. 1 in their company proposal. Failure to acknowledge addendum on the bid form will result in bid being declared non-responsive. Bid records will be available for public inspection after issuance of the notice of intent to award or the award of the contract. Bidder should contact the Airport to arrange an appointment to review the bid record. The sealed bids received by date scheduled for August 23, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Spokane has not changed. Attached are the following documents to be acknowledged with each contractors bid package as part of Addendum No. 1. Attachments to this addendum are as follows: 1. Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference Minutes 2. Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference Attendance Sign-In Sheet 3. Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference Presentation CHANGES, ADDITIONS, DELETIONS AND/OR CLARIFICATIONS TO THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: GENERAL NOTES/CLARIFICATIONS Mandatory Pre-Bid Questions/Clarifications ITEM 1: Do not modify bid documents. ITEM 2: To clarify insurance requirements reference Bid Specifications General Conditions, Section 2.02.E. ITEM 3: General Contractor must provide security badged porters throughout construction. ITEM 4: Building permits required for electrical and HVAC work, by GC. General construction permit with city not required. 1

Power Point Presentation 2.1 The attached power point presentation was used to conduct the Pre-Bid Meeting 2.2 Notes from the site walk through and meeting discussions The meeting started with introductions of the key team members Lisa Corcoran discussed a general overview of the bid documents During this discussion it was reiterated that badging will be required for all construction workers and porters It was stated not to modify the bid document format Brian Smith discussed a general overview of the summary of the work Estimated project costs is $3~$4 million Brian discussed the simplicity of the project and that the existing controls methodology would be utilized on the new equipment Brian stated that all substitution requests will be reviewed for exception after bid submittal and contractor selection Phasing and a proposed schedule was presented After the Power Point presentation there was a group lead site tour of the work areas 2.3 The following describe the clarification items that were discussed during the presentation To clarify insurance requirements reference Bid specifications general conditions section Building permits are required for electrical and HVAC work, by GC. Contractor shall be responsible for performing this work. ITEM 15: HVAC relocation and crane use restrictions: FAA form is required a minimum of 90 days prior to work.
