1 WILREP LTD. SOUND & VIBRATION CONTROL Sound solutions that don t compromise design the choice is clear with DeAmp Transparent Sound Absorber Panels Toronto, January 10, Your restaurant, atrium or office is finished in glass, wood and other hard materials. Aesthetically, it s eye-catching. But once people are in the space an issue becomes obvious the acoustics are awful due to highly reflective surfaces. Glass, wood and concrete are all common materials in modern architecture. They lend a clean line, and glass in particular gives a feeling of openness. But these materials are poor sound absorbers they bounce sound back, making conversations unintelligible and performances echo. The obvious answer is an acoustic treatment. But some sound solutions are bulky or unattractive. However, there is an answer. DeAmp Transparent Sound Absorber Panels are perfect for use in buildings that have a high use of glass, concrete or other hard materials. They are clear, and improve the sound in a space while practically disappearing into the background. DeAmp panels can be placed directly in front of windows, pictures or light sources, and can even be printed on. Made of high-transparency copolyester, they maintain clarity for many years. Typical transparency is 91%, where optical (lens) glass is 93%. Acoustic absorption is achieved through airflow resistance through the micro slits in the panels, giving them their unique quality, covered by U.S. and International patents. Let your background material tell the architectural story. See a detailed data sheet below or contact AcoustiGuard-Wilrep about DeAmp Transparent Sound Absorber Panels today. 2 WILREP LTD SPECIAL CONSTRUCTION 14 manufactured sound & vibration control components DeAmp Transparent Sound Absorber Panels DeAmp Transparent Sound Absorber Panels Are Clearly Unique The use of glass to create a feeling of transparency and openness is a coveted option for architects and designers. With transparency on par with optical glass, DeAmp panels used in front of windows maintains the architectural grandeur of 'Enclosed Openness' while developing a sense of acoustical peace within the room. Optimal acoustics is achieved while promoting natural daylight levels throughout interior spaces.

3 DeAmp Transparent Sound Absorber Panels are perfect for use in building structures that have a high use of glass, concrete or other hard surfaces. The Sound Absorber Panels can be attached directly on the wall, or in front of windows, pictures or light sources. For aesthetical purposes it is possible to print directly on the panels. DeAmp Panel options include: Edge or Backlighting Transparent Through to Opaque Graphic Printing FDA Compliance Authentic DeAmp panels are made from high-impact resistant, high-transparency copolyester, which will maintain clarity for many years. Typical transparency is 91%, where optical (lens) glass is 93%. Acoustic absorption is created from air flow resistance through the micro slits in the panels and is the foundation of the International and U.S. patents. The acoustical treatment simply disappears and allows the background material to tell the architectural story. Communication and room function is enhanced or hindered by room acoustics. DeAmp panels allows the visual communication intent of glass partition walls in conference rooms or open offices to be maintained while preventing room reverberation from interfering with intelligible speech. DeAmp panels used in large volume rooms will reduce reverberation times and allow

4 DeAmp panels used in front of any other hard surface such as concrete or drywall will produce the same acoustic effect as when placed in front of glass the acoustical treatment simply disappears, and allows the background material to tell the architectural story. ACOUSTIC PERFORMANCE DeAmp panels when suspended 50mm [2 ] away from a hard reflective surface, delivers substantial sound absorption across the NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient) frequency range; 0.50 NRC from 125Hz. to 4000Hz. SUSPENSION SYSTEMS (by other) We can supply different lengths of stand-offs, tensioned wire suspensions and custom mounting solutions for most any interior situation. Alternatively, DeAmp Panels may be incorporated into your current or future mullion or fenestration. Please contact us to discuss your specifics. But even greater performance is achievable as the suspension gap is increased. At 197mm [7.6 ] distance the overall NRC remains little changed at 0.45 but low frequency (125Hz.) absorption increases exponentially; soaring from 50mm, to 197mm. For all intents and purpose an acoustic bass trap, that is transparent and only 5mm [3/16 ] thick /3-Octave Frequencies 1 Layer at 97 mm (= 4 )

5 NOW AVAILABLE ASK ABOUT The FAST Panel (Frequency Absorbing Spefied Tuning) Introducing Quietstone a firm, long lasting acoustic panel made from recycled glass. These acoustic panels are suitable for interior as well as exterior applications, especially where impact resistance is a necessity. The panels are available in precut sizes or can also be easily cut on site. As well as being an outstanding sound absorbing product it is also noncombustible, chemically inert and non-fibrous. These panels can be either mechanically fixed with screws or detailed fixings or bonded with our own tile adhesive.
