1 So that the sound waves calm down Gudi Reapor - the sound absorber Perfect sound with acoustic panels made of expanded glass The open-porous sound absorber Gudi Reapor is a result of the sintering process of Liaver Expanded Glass Granulate. INSTALLATION GUIDELINES FOR REAPOR Installation of the Gudi Reaporelements on ceiling and wall surfaces. The following pages show the individual steps and components for the preparation and installation of Gudi Reapor-elements: Prepare the surface The surface must be smooth, clean and free of any kind of oil (or other chemical additives). Unevennesses must be removed (removing of the concrete bits and noses) and then the surfaces will become straightened, over a large area, with adhesive CM18. The surface should be primed with CT 17, before bonding the Gudi Reaporelements. Gudi Acoustics. All Copyrights Reserved

2 1 2 3 INSTALLATION GUIDELINES FOR REAPOR 4 1. For smooth surfaces, it is sufficient to apply the glue only onto the element, on uneven surfaces, unevenness must be compensated and the glue may be applied also onto the surface. 2. Coating the surfaces with primer CT17 3. The glue must be applied up to the edges of Gudi Reapor -elements! 4. CM 18 mix as specifications, let it rest about 5 min, and stir it again for about 2-3 minutes stir The adhesive has a soft consistency. Apply generously CM 18 adhesive fully onto the element. Then deduct an 8 mm notched trowel. Gudi Acoustics. All Copyrights Reserved

The height of the ridges of the glue is 8mm, at a double application of glue (element and surface) only 6 mm! 8. Subsequent shaping of the bevel on tailored Gudi Reapor-elements. 9. Please insert the Gudi Reapor-element carefully, do not beat it!!! Place the element approx. 10 cm before the final position, and then push it into final position. Adhesiveridges must be finally folded and trimmed! Gudi Acoustics. All Copyrights Reserved

Possible joint pattern of Gudi Reaporelements (ceiling or wall, without coating) in 1/3 or 1/2 assambly. 11 INSTALLATION GUIDELINES FOR REAPOR Gudi Acoustics. All Copyrights Reserved

5 The Supernatant of the concrete profile = drainage edge! At facing of exterior surfaces The surface should be necessarily protected against weather influences by impregnate moistures barrier. For this purpose, the upper edge shall be protected with a cover profiles or an overhanging concrete edge, to prevent penetration of moistures. Gudi Acoustics. All Copyrights Reserved

6 When Coating Interior Walls And Ceilings At facing of interior surfaces When coating interior walls and ceilings with acoustic finish, paint the surfaces with "white" primer beforehand. The acoustic finish can be applied with a trowel or sprayed. The mineral and nonfibrous Gudi Reapor has an open-porous structure, that achieve extraordinary acoustic properties. Expanded clay company Liapor developed the innovative absorbing material cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute of Building Physics (IBP). 12. After gluing the Gudi Reapor-elements, sanding the butt edges and then clean off the dust with a handheld vacuum cleaner. 13. Alternatively "Acoustic Finish" can be applied with a pump. In this case, an 8 mm nozzle is employed. The air pressure must be regulated as required. 14. After applying the "Acoustic Finish, the layer formed on the surface must be deducted immediately. 15. Before further processing, the coating must be completely dry! Gudi Acoustics. All Copyrights Reserved
