1 Drinking water and sewage pipes System Description BPE BRUGG drinking water and sewage pipe, Type BPE made of polyethylene The BPE pipe is a preinsulated plastic jacket pipe system for transporting drinking water and sewage. It is a pipe system for a channel-free, direct underground or open laying that has been tried and tested since years. The BPE pipe contains a medium pipe made of polyethylene of varying quality (PE80 or 100). Depending on the application, it is certified for drinking water. The polyethylene pipes can also be delivered on request. The polyethylene pipes are pushed concentric into a shock-resistant HDPE jacket pipe at our factory and the intermediate space is foamed with polyurethane high performance foam. All three components form a fixed unit. Thus, this pipe system belongs to the family of composite pipes. Object-related, the BPE pipe can also be delivered with foamed heater band channel. Due to the installation-friendly material property of the polyethylene, pipe ends can be buttwelded. Alternately, electric welded muffs or mechanical joints are used. The reinsulation work is generally carried out by us or by a trained contractor. BPE pipes are used for open installation (bridges and tunnels) or with slight cover as protection against freezing. Similarly, they are protected from mechanical damages and as additional corrosion proofing for a long life and to ensure optimum operational safety. Pressure pipes made of polyethylene / Delivery program In the preinsulated drinking water and sewage pipes BPE, standard s with wall in compliance with ISO 65 are used. If the medium pipes you want/purchased deviate from it, they must be tested by Brugg for stability. The permitted nominal pressure of the various PE pipes depend on the pipe series, the polyethylene quality and safety factory according to the flow diagram. It is a pipe system for a channel-free, direct underground or open laying that has been tried and tested since years. The BPB pipe contains a medium pipe made of polybutene. The polybutene pipes can also be delivered on request. The polybutene pipes are pushed concentric into a shock-resistant HDPE jacket pipe at our factory and the intermediate space is foamed with polyurethane high performance foam. All three components form a fixed unit. Thus, this pipe system belongs to the family of composite pipes. Object-related, the BPB pipe can also be delivered with an already foamed heater band channel. It is a pipe system for a channel-free, direct underground or overground laying that has been tried and tested since years. The BGK pipe contains a medium pipe made of glass fibre reinforced polyester. The glass fibre reinforced polyester pipes can also be delivered on request. The glass fibre reinforced pipes are pushed concentric into a shock-resistant HDPE jacket pipe at our factory and the intermediate space is foamed with polyurethane high performance foam. All three components form a fixed unit. Thus, this pipe system belongs to the family of composite pipes. Depending on the model, after successful installation, the impact points of the BGK pipes are reinsulated using shrink muffs, collars or shrink bands. This reinsulation work is generally carried out by us or by a trained contractor.
