I spent the first six years in a consultants firm, during which time I obtained my professional memberships and Chartered Engineer status. Thereafter I mainly practiced in construction firms, with additional experience with a real estate developer and a construction material business. Comprehensive involvement in construction at senior/top management corporate level covering project management, contract administration, business development, tendering, subletting & procurement, cost control, staff administration as well as company management and strategy in Hong Kong and Macau. Also responsible for all legal matters with a previous employer, including in-depth involvement in one arbitration and two mediations with the Hong Kong Government. 8 Besides working as a contractor in the construction industry, I also directed & promoted the sales of Seamaster Paint in Hong Kong and in various cities in Mainland China. Main duties include the control & monitoring of programme & progress, cost, site works, subcontractors performance, contractual matters, variations & claims, site organization, site staff performance & assessment. Project Description- Kowloon Park Redevelopment A complete reconstruction of the 13.3 hectares park with full range of indoor and outdoor facilities to the public. Indoor facilities included Olympic standard swimming and diving pools complex and 1760m² floor area sports complex with 8

9 various activity components including main arena, sports hall, fitness room, squash courts, etc. The Outdoor facilities included soccer pitch, fitness trail, lakes, aviary, a number of gardens and playgrounds, etc. Fast track construction was essential to complete the massive quantities of work the project entailed within 2 years. The number of site supervisory staff was around 90 at peak of construction. Coordination for the tendering team for the HK$1.4 billion Eastern Hospital Project. The team consists of Shui On, a joint-venture partner and a package E & M subcontractor. Main duties include the coordination & monitoring of members working time & schedule, programming, method statement, costing & tender submission, etc to 1987 Chung Shing Const. Co. Ltd.
