3 The core of these panels consists of MDF in a natural light brown colour. The view side of the panel is finished to the Architect s specifications: veneer, HPL laminate or a RAL / NCS colour. The necessary acoustic effect is achieved through a unique milling and groove pattern combined with the use of an acoustic membrane. In this way sound energy is almost com- pletely absorbed, or if necessary, reflect- ed. The design and acoustics for each project can be fully attuned by choosing from a wide variety of models. Prefabricated edge slats are available for edge finishing. These solid wood or MDF slats are produced per project from the same wood type or colour as the acoustic panels.

4 Wood is used efficiently in the production of veneer. Due to modern production methods around m 2 of veneer can be produced from 1 m 3 of wood. Lambri works only with veneer which originates from controlled reforestation areas. Veneer sheets with a width of cm are book-matched and glued to form panels. Upon request it is also possible to produce slip-matched or mismatched sheets.

5 Fire Safety Data Lambri panels are fabricated from Topan FR MDF with fire retardant core Euro Class B-s2-d0 and finished in an intumescent varnish or lacquer to achieve Euro Class B-s1-d0 if required. The Soundtex backing fleece is certified Euro Class B-s1-d0 Weight Nominal panel weight of 10kg/m 2 Maintenance Clean panels with a non- abrasive cleaner. Manufacture Standard panel length of 2780mm & 2400mm, widths of 129mm or 266mm Topline (13/3 only). All veneered/melamine panels have balancing veneer to rear face of panel. Soundtex black fleece is adhered to the rear to prevent fibre migration Installation Topline panels are tongue and groove construction. For wall execution they are retained to a timber sub frame by means of secret clips nominally at 600mm cc. For ceiling execution they can be fitted to a timber sub-frame or to heavy duty T grids both by means of secret clips at 600mm cc. Acoustic Performance Acoustic data in this brochure is based on a 50mm thick 45kg/m 2 Rockwool absorber fitted to the rear of the panel. Guide Specification General 1.
