4 MOBILE WALL SYSTEMS DUTCH Design WHAT IS A MOBILE PANEL WALL? A mobile panel wall is a wall that can be moved easily. An apparently permanent wall, which can be used flexibly thanks to modular construction. As a result, you can easily create one or more spaces (page 5). You can compose each panel wall to your own specifications based on modular building blocks (pages 6 and 7). Optional access doors in various designs provide even greater flexibility (page 8). The individual panels can be parked in different ways, or concealed in niches or storage compartments (page 9). The near-infinite variety of walls and flexible spaces that can be created using the wall system building blocks and various parking configurations is clearly and transparently illustrated on pages 10 and 11. When closed, the telescopic seals at the top and bottom of the wall create a stable and soundproof barrier. You can opt for either manually or automatically operated seals. The choice is yours (pages 12 and 13). The panels are easy to move as they are suspended from wheeled trolleys fitted with precision bearings (page 16). Our broad range of finishes means that almost any desired visual effect can be achieved (page 21). WHY CHOOSE ATTACA PANEL WALLS? The panel walls from ATTACA are the result of years of experience and product innovation. Each and every detail focuses on quality, convenience and durability. We offer an impressive (and unique!) 10-year warranty on the manual scissor mechanism. YEAR WARRANTY SCISSOR MECHANISM The excellent quality of the operating mechanisms, the aluminium alloys and the tracks, wheeled trolleys, hinges and locks result in high convenience for the users. Furthermore, ATTACA s international orientation guarantees you a product that faithfully follows trends in interior design and architecture. 5 IMPROVE Efficiency MOBILE WALL SYSTEMS OPEN WALL; SINGLE ACE The ability to play with space offers opportunities for an optimum return, efficiency and sustainability. The mobile panel walls move with your needs. They can easily be relocated to a new position by a single person. CLOSED WALL; MULTIPLE ROOMS New spaces appear and disappear with the same ease and convenience. If required, in association with high sound insulation performance. Glazed openings or access doors can be specified for greater flexibility and transparency. P5

6 MOBILE WALL SYSTEMS EASY Operating PANELS AS BUILDING BLOCKS When constructing a mobile panel wall, you can use the panels illustrated below as building blocks. 18 MOBILE WALL SYSTEMS DISTINCTIVE FINISHES Attaca is innovative in its use of finishing techniques and finishing materials. Attention to detail, and a keen eye for trends and design have resulted in various unique wall finishes, including the use of leather or artificial leather (Chesterfield look). Other examples include special products for schools or boardrooms with finishes that mimic whiteboards or pin boards. What about specially designed digital prints on the panel skin? 22 MOBILE WALL SYSTEMS DUTCH Design TECHNICAL PERFORMANCE IN DETAIL P90 and P110 mobile panel walls. The mobile panel walls from ATTACA are available in two types; the P90 and the P110. The differences lie in the visible or concealed tongue and groove profiles and in the thickness of the panels. The concealed differences lie in the thickness of the chipboard and the various rubber seals. In terms of specifications, the P110 carries on from where the P90 stops. This relates to the possible heights, sound insulation values, finishing options and strength. Dimensions Panel width: Minimum of 600 mm and maximum of 1240 mm. Panel height: Minimum of 1000 mm, maximum of 3300 mm for the P90 and 6500 mm for the P110. Higher than 6500 mm subject to enquiry. Panel thickness: 90 mm for the P90 and 105 mm for the P110. Wall width: Unlimited. The package dimensions can be inferred from the panel width and the total number of panels. Sound insulation Values of 38 to 57 db Rw for the P110 and 37 to 46 db Rw for the P90. The specified sound insulation values have been achieved in laboratory tests. The values always differ in practice. This difference can be explained by the acoustics in the room, construction-related conditions, external sound sources, edge sealing, the use of access doors, etc. As a rule of thumb, 46 db Rw is considered to be adequate for meetings. Visual partition (0-20 db), some sound insulation (36-39 db), reasonable sound insulation (40-44 db), meeting quality (45-47 db), very good meeting quality (48-50 db), best possible sound reduction (51-57 db). Tongue and groove profiles. The vertical aluminium tongue and groove profiles are tapered and feature rubber seals and a 32 mm wide magnetic strip (exerting an attraction force of 14.4 kg/ linear metre for optimum sealing between 2 panels). In the case of the P110, these profiles are concealed, meaning that no aluminium profiles are visible when the wall is in the closed position. In the case of the P90, a perimeter profile is used, which remains in plain view. A visible profile (perimeter profile) can also be used for the P110. Weights Approximately kg/m², depending on the sound insulation value and finish. Resistance Waterproof floor joint. Chipboard panelling cannot withstand long-term exposure to moisture. The panels can optionally be made from a moistureresistant material. Flammability Not non-flammable as standard. Low-flammability chipboard is available as an option. Optional availability of 30-minute fire resistance for the P110. Tested according to NEN P22 MOBILE PANEL WALLS

23 PRECISION Techniques MOBILE WALL SYSTEMS MORE FROM ATTACA! Trim panel 10 mm thick for the P90 and 18 mm thick for the P110. The trim panelling complies with the EN14322 and EN14323 standard. This standard specifies the tolerances for the panelling in terms of damage, flatness, thickness etc. Design details The support structure must be adequately strong, rigid and level and capable of supporting the complete weight of the wall. Repair All parts can be replaced. The trim panelling can easily be renewed. Maintenance Clean the surfaces with a solvent-free cleaning agent. Consult your supplier for technical maintenance instructions. Warranty 2-year factory warranty. 10-year warranty on the scissor mechanism. Delivery Worldwide.
