8 Refurbishment of Metal/Light Roofs Insulated Mechanically Attached HaogenPlast Single-Ply Thermoplastic PVC Membranes is a permanent solution that will eliminate leaks, provide a longguaranteed service life and offer low maintenance and life cycle costs. In addition the systems are designed to stop the leaks without interfering in daily operations. It eliminates the need to replace the roof, which is expensive and disruptive to building operations and will eventually lead to having to address the same roof issues such as leaks, condensation, rusting & corrosion. 9 Refurbishment / Re-cover of Bitumen Mechanically Attached When bituminous membranes have come to the end of its service life, the PVC Membranes in this system are designed to cover, re-seal the roof without having to remove the existing bitumen membranes. It eliminates the need to replace the bituminous membrane, which is labour intensive and costly. Use of ElvaFlex will extend the roofs life by up to 30 years and will not require a separation layer. Insulated & ballasted systems are available.
