Eco-Friendly Protection & Rehabilitation Solutions Introducing Raven 760 HPPC High Performance Polymer Concrete Product Launch

Raven 760 HPPC High Performance Polymer Concrete Product Fast, three hour set with an extended 14 day recoat window Superior trowel or spray application with minimum rebound Epoxy fortified bond strength Self priming, resurfacing, patching and void filler Ease of application results in a excellent substrate for the application of coatings with a variety of coating technologies Self-contained packaging and mixing kit for maximum convenience

Industry Challenges & Needs Easily repairs flaws in concrete to prepare for coating Fast cure and turn around time Easy to mix and apply Cost effectiveness to reduce top coat thickness and costs Extended re-coat window for flexibility of scheduling Ability to apply as a thin skim coat to fill small voids or total re-surfacer Good adhesion over new or rehabilitated concrete Ability to over coat with various coating technologies

What is HPPC? High Performance Polymer Cement Combines the high adhesion of epoxy with high performance cement Designed as a stand alone re-surfacing product or coating underlayment Used to repair voids, bug holes, spalls & exposed aggregate Film thickness: 1/16 to 1/4 inch Ideal for new concrete

Applications for Raven 760 HPPC Protection and/or rehabilitation of concrete or masonry structures that require enhancement of the structural integrity and corrosion protection Tunnels and pipelines Digesters Secondary containment Wastewater facilities Clarifiers Tanks Manholes Floors and walls

Raven 760 HPPC Packaging Supplied in a convenient self-contained, pre-measured easy-to-use 5 gallon pail Raven 760 HPPC 2.6 gallon kit Part A ½ gallon Resin Part B ½ gallon Curing Agent Part C Dry cement powder Coverage: 17 square feet at ¼ inch thick 36 Kits per pallet

Raven 760 HPPC Application Process Overview 1. Safety 2. Surface preparation 3. Environmental conditions 4. Mixing & pot life 5. Application methods: Trowel & Spray 6. Re-coating and Topcoating

Safety Eye protection should be utilized at all times Respiratory protection during the mixing procedures and application Limit expose to ones skin by utilizing gloves, Tyvek suits, and long sleeves Avoid loose clothing when operating power mixers Easy soap and water cleanup

Surface Preparation Stop active infiltration Remove surface contaminants Remove latent and unsound surface materials Abrade to develop min CSP 3 profile and open porosity Can be achieved utilizing: Minimum of 5000 PSI Water blasting with a 0 degree rotating tip Abrasive blasting Sand injection water blasting Other means as required

Environmental Conditions Matt & Ryan Substrate temperature between 45 F 90 F at the time of application For the duration of the first 24 hours after application substrate temperature s must stay above 35 F In environment s where the humidity level is or falls below 70% relative humidity the finished product shall be kept damp for the first 72 hours after application Caution should be taken to minimize exposure of applied product to sunlight and air movement during application and curing. Shading of structure may be necessary

Mixing & Pot Life 1. Remove the bag of cement (Part C) from its 5 gallon pail 2. Thoroughly shake both Part A and Part B containers 3. Pour all of the Part A and Part B into the 5 gallon pail 4. Mix combined A & B for a minimum of one minute at high speed 5. Slowly add Part C while mixing and continue mixing until material is a uniform color and texture 30 minute work time at 72 F

Application Methods & Equipment Designed for 1/16 1/4 application thickness Additional thickness may be applied in successive applications as necessary For spray applications, thin with no more than 6 ounces of potable water per kit Substrate should have a Saturated, Surface Dry (SSD) condition prior to application Apply with Hand trowel or scraper Cementations spray system Hopper Gun

Re-coat & Top coating Re-coating with 760 HPPC can commence after two hours at surface temperatures of 72 F Before top coating make sure the surface is clean, dry and free of contaminations If necessary wash and dry the surface Top Coating or priming can commence as quickly as three hours after application at surface temperatures of 72 F with 100% solids epoxy coatings (other technologies to be determined) Maximum Recoat time of 14 days at 72 F Top coating beyond 14 days requires abrading, cleaning, and drying the surface

FAQ s? Question - Can you add gravel to the mix to fill large voids? Answer - Up to 18 pounds of 1/4 pea gravel can be added per kit Question - Can you thin 760 HPPC? Answer Up to 6 ounces of potable water can be added per kit. Be careful not to add more because it will weaken the product Question Can you rejuvenate 760 by adding more water once it starts to kick off? Answer No

FAQ s? Question Will 760 prevent pinholes? Answer 760 was not designed to prevent pinholes but may reduce them Question What will happen if 760 is applied over 1/4 thick? Answer - It will cure out fine but it may sag or slump

Projects using Raven HPPC Can be used on a variety of new or rehabilitated structures large or small Utilized as a standalone product or to provide an underlayment for the application of protective coatings
