1 Advance Notice June 27, 2018 Cougar Ridge and Sunset Elementary Schools Change Order #7 Crawford Action to be taken: I move the board approve the Cougar Ridge and Sunset Elementary Schools Change Order #7 from Cornerstone General Contractors, Inc., in the amount of $455, plus $45, WSST for a total of $501, Each proposal request listed on the attached Change Order No. 7 has been reviewed by the District Construction Coordinator for the project. Cost proposals were reviewed and reduced where possible and as proposed represent an equitable charge for the scope of work involved. Loading dock column to provide easier loading/access to existing door. Move dry sprinkler line due to and conflicts. Miscellaneous structural changes due to. Provide concrete wall cover at loading dock due to relocation of loading dock. Remove skylight, repair dry-rotted joists and replace roofing as directed by Owner. Move existing electrical to accommodate new heat pumps due to discrepancies in original drawings. Added Glue Lam Beam at Northeast entry. Revise wall flashing to expose Glu Lam Beam and provide watertight seal at top of masonry. Revise corridor 120 finishes to blend with existing finishes and detailing. Align roof system with outriggers to avoid need for hot tar roofing and resulting construction odors. Revise ductwork due to ceiling duct conflicts; existing duct lower than shown. Additional 2-hour firewall per Code Inspector. Change alum sill flashing to sheet metal due to product not being available. Provide beam connection due to connection missing on shop drawings. Demo SAGE room ceiling to accommodate installation of heat pump and replace ceiling. Revise area of ceiling incorrectly shown alternate on drawings. Route chiller piping overhead to replace the existing leaking underground piping per Owner. Additional steel and connections per submittal review comments. Add steel support at screen wall not shown on drawings. Add structural tie-in at Grid 21 due to connections not shown. Add tackable wall covering to hallways and classrooms per Owner. Revise kitchen catwalk due to insufficient detail on structural Revise expansion joint detail to cover inconsistent gap at existing building due to original construction inaccuracy. Revise roof detail and dimensions at existing loading dock overhang. Construct and insulate new roof pony walls for seismic joint redesign per Owner Envelope Consultant to enhance waterproofing detail. At kitchen, revise framing and structural detailing. Additional steel joist revision per shop drawing review. Change smooth to fluted CMU at base of wall. Furr existing wall in Commons due to unforeseen condition.
