1 CUSTOM LININGS RESERVOIR LINING Custom Linings Reservoir Lining System uses a durable geotextile fabric as a base to apply the potable water approved polyurea (Custom Linings 911PW) coating material over, providing a seamless and very durable containment system. The base can be any earthen material that has been compacted to reduce settling. The system can also be tied into a variety of other substrates, such as concrete, steel and wood. This system does not allow any liquids to permeate through from below or any water loss from above, other than evaporation. This system is ideal for ponds, canals, dams and levees.

2 HYDRO-ELECTRIC PLANT FLUME RESTORATION Custom Linings 911 Industrial Grade Polyurea was selected as the system for coating 2 sections (24,000 sq ft) of a feed flume to a hydroelectric power plant. Custom Linings coating was selected based on its durability, ease of application and proved longevity based on its service history. The coating system was applied over a geotextile base on existing weathered and worn wood and over new wood after primer was installed. An added benefit not expected was an increase of nearly 25% in water flow caused by the reduction in friction as compared to bare, untreated wood.
