1 Arturo expands product offering Varnishing transparently and with colour Ulm/Munich, January 2015 Arturo, a brand of Uzin Utz AG, specialises in synthetic resin floors for different functional and design requirements in the industrial, commercial and private areas of application. At the BAU 2015 trade fair in Munich Arturo will present four new products: the thin-film varnish Arturo EP3020 allowing water vapour diffusion, the coloured varnish Arturo PU3320, the transparent varnish Arturo PU7320 as well as the primer Arturo EP6900. The three new varnishes protect the finish of the floor, on the one hand, and they can be used as design element on the other hand. Arturo EP3020 the rugged, fast and economic varnish The new thin-film epoxy-based floor varnish, allowing water vapour diffusion, facilitates the easy, fast and economic new coating or renovation of industrial floors with light to medium traffic. Whether in production, warehouse or equipment rooms, in storage sheds, basements or the private garage: the varnish can be universally applied thanks to its water vapour diffusion properties both on cementitious as well as anhydrite and even magnesium-bonded substrates. The 2- component sealer is wear resistant and features a high-quality silky lustre. Arturo EP3020 is odourless, solvent-free, very easy to process and available in different shades. Arturo PU3320 the coloured varnish, combines finish protection and UV stability The new 2-component, water-containing, coloured polyurethane varnish Arturo PU3320 with semi-matt look completes the Arturo product offering. It is especially suitable as wear-resistant and UV-stable finish protection for Arturo PU2060 industrial floor coating with light to medium traffic. To obtain an especially scratch-

2 resistant hard-wearing finish of the floor, an additional protective film in the form of the transparent Arturo varnish can be applied with the desired look. Arturo PU3320 as cover sealer on top of flow coating, such as Arturo PU2030, is the ideal solution for social rooms, canteens, kindergartens, therapy rooms, private residences or wherever high walking comfort with joint-preserving properties is desired. With Arturo PU3320, the user will enjoy a UV-stable and easy to clean floor for a long time which, in addition, has especially low emission according to AgBB (Health Assessment of Building Products) guidelines. The coloured varnish is also suitable for re-varnishing existing floor coating. With this varnish there are no limits to individual floor designs through creative colour and design combinations Arturo PU7320 transparent varnish with semi-matt look for scratchresistant and UV-stable floors With the transparent varnish Arturo PU7320 a new water-based, 2-component varnish with semi-matt look will soon be available next to the mat Arturo PU7750. The varnish features high UV-resistance and makes the floor especially scratch and wear-resistant. It is particularly suitable as varnish on Arturo PU2030 and PU2060 flow coating as well as cover sealer on Arturo PU3320 varnish. Thanks to its good flow properties, Arturo PU7320 is easy to work with and easy to clean. The varnish is low-emission and approved according to AgBB. Arturo EP6900 primer for universal use The new colourless, 2-component primer Arturo EP8900 can be used universally, whether as primer on cementitious substrates, under Arturo EP and PU finishes, for the fabrication of scratched levelling compounds and EP mortar or as bonding agent. The primer is marked by excellent intermediate adhesion to mineral-based substrates and has been tested against the impact of moisture from the rear. Thanks to its defoaming properties is can be excellently processed and cures quickly.
