3 At Kaye Building Systems we offer an innovative and fully integrated range of façade products, comprising Curtain Walling, Doors,Windows and low rise Glazing Systems. As part of the worldwide Exlabesa group Kaye Building Systems is independent aluminium glazing system supplier based in Doncaster South Yorkshire. At our Doncaster site we design, extrude, thermally improve, paint and anodise our profiles to ensure the products quality. The materials are supplied ex-stock from our warehouse facility which include Windows, Doors, Ground floor treatments and Curtain walling profiles we also can supply the hardware components to make the finished products. The systems are sold exclusively though a network of approved Kaye Building Systems distributors throughout the UK and Europe. 4 PRODUCTION FACILITIES At our 8-acre site in Doncaster we have invested in the latest machinery to ensure that we offer our customers the very best quality on extrusions, polyester powder coat and anodising. We have two extrusion presses at our production facility in Doncaster, amongst them are a 2000 tonne press and a 1600 tonne press. These presses are able to extrude any fenestration extrusion that we design from 0.98kgs per meter to 8kgs per meter. We also have two ageing ovens one per extruder to harden the aluminium when it has been extruded. EXTRUSION The hardening of the extrusion is very important, as the aluminium is still soft when extruded.

5 Painting is by far the most common way of finishing aluminium extrusions. The range of colours and exterior finishes that Kaye Building Systems can offer is almost infinite. The vertical paint plant at Kaye Aluminium a major investment and with a capacity for 10,000 lengths per day and up to 7.4 metres in length. This places Kaye Building Systems in a very competitive situation within the Aluminium market it also ensures we can deal with a range of projects large or small. All our powder coating is certified to BS 6496 standard and Kaye Aluminium is an approved applicator of INTERPON D polyester powder. We can also issue guarantees up to 25 years (on application and site dependent) on our powder coating. PAINTING (POLYESTER POWER COATING) Our in house inspection processes are designed to ensure high-quality coating on products for use in Architectural applications. A minimum of two inspections each year by our powder suppliers are required for us to be able to issue guarantees on our painted products, this ensures our customers receive the best quality paint finishing.

Kaye Building Systems commercial aluminium doors provide fabricators with flexibility in design and ease of fabrication with punch tooling available to speed up the fabrication process. The commercial door suite is available in a range of configurations hinged, pivot or sliding systems, which are all fully compatible with Kaye Building Systems curtain walling. Kaye Building Systems door solutions are designed for both low traffic areas and heavy-duty use in busy public places, with maximum resistance to wear. Kaye Building Systems commercial door system will integrate with most types of door hardware currently on the market. Kaye building systems thermal door suite is a cost effective way to improve the thermal value of any shop front application. The ease of fabrication of the thermal door suite (using the K corner concept) and the incorporation of standard hardware makes the thermal suite a real alternative to non thermal doors. The KWS Window System is fabricated using a mechanical corner cleat which ensures the ease of fabrication Meeting Project Requirements. KWS is available in 51mm and 75mm wide sections. Architectural Flexibility. The systems can be used for punched hole, composite and ribbon window applications, and both new build and refurbishment schemes Efficient Drainage. The framing system is fully drained either onto a sill section or with our innovative face drain cap which includes a internal baffle to stop wind noise and to minimise the build up of water and for excellent weather resistance.
