Broadwell manufactures inflatable air structures, commonly referred to as air domes or air bubbles. We began when our executives with decades of industry experience determined to design and manufacture a safer, more cost-effective, state-of-the-art dome. Broadwell now has over 200 domes in eight countries and our worldwide team has grown to over 150 people. In late 2016, we expanded into North America, bringing with us decades of industry experience and the highest quality, lowest cost domes in the world. Our domes can be designed to handle up to 150mph winds and 50psf of snow. 2 Fabric Air domes of made of vinyl-coated polyester fabric. The fabric can be made any color, matte or reflective finish. The fabrics have year warranties. They are self-cleaning, provide UV protection, are anti-corrosive and anti-fungal. Double layer domes have an outer fabric layer and inner liner. These have high insulation value and low utility costs. Sky lights can be added to let in natural light during the day. This option is best for clients looking to heat/cool the dome regularly and maintain a consistent internal air temperature, such as in year-round installations or installations in extreme temperatures. Double Layer (with skylights) Single Layer Single layer domes have just the outer fabric layer. These dome packages typically cost 60% of the double layer packages. The single fabric layer lets in a lot of natural light so additional lights are not needed during the day. These domes are best for installations where the dome does not need to be kept at a constant temperature. Air Blowers & HVAC Self-regulating air blowers with backup fans keep your dome inflated at the proper pressure. High efficiency heaters and AC units can be used to heat or cool your dome. Cable Harness Full Cable Harness Broadwell s patented cable harness system is a netting of coated steel cable that goes over the entire fabric envelope and attaches to the dome foundation. It covers the entire dome, distributing the forces acting on the fabric of the dome evenly across the entire structure. Domes with the cable harness system are cable of handling much higher pressure than domes without it. Doors and Lights Dome doors can be made of stainless steel or aluminum. We provide emergency exit doors, revolving air locks, cargo/vehicle air locks, and ADA air lock doors. Domes can be lit via LED or HID lights. Lights can hang from the dome ceiling or project upwards on poles from the ground. Solar Panels After nearly two years of development and testing, we now offer flexible solar panels that will affix to the outside of the dome.

Domes without our cable harness cannot handle nearly as much force, as these domes rely on the strength of the fabric alone. Longer Useful Life Because our cable harness system takes most of the force off of our fabric, our fabric envelopes experience less wear and tear. As a result, our domes last much longer, with a useful life around 5 years longer than other domes. 4 Superior Design, Engineering and Fabrication = Best Looking Air Domes Our domes are the most aesthetically pleasing air domes in the world. This is due in part to the higher quality materials we use but also due to our expert design, precise engineering, and a state-of-the art manufacturing facility. We create very cleanest, smoothest possible seams, connection points, and seals against the foundation and doors. Our superior engineering allows us to produce domes have much fewer creases and unsightly wrinkles in the fabric than any other domes in the world. Highest Operational Efficiency Air Purification Broadwell air purification systems filter out very fine PM2.5 pollutants. They can include UV lights that cleanse the air of harmful microorganisms. Air domes are a fraction of the operational cost of other traditional buildings. The design of Broadwell s mechanical systems makes them the most efficient of any dome company, lowering your operational costs. Furthermore, our anchorage design and the way in which we attach the dome to the foundation and to the doors creates the most air tight seal of any dome in the world, preventing air loss and thus requiring less energy from air blowers to maintain pressure or HVAC units to maintain temperature. Superior Monitoring Capabilities and Control Systems Broadwell has developed our own mobile app that allows you to monitor the dome pressure, temperature, air quality, real time power consumption, historical power consumption, and wind speeds outside the dome. We are the only dome company that installs three pressure sensors inside the dome to ensure that pressure readings are correct. With our monitoring system you can set up safety alerts that will automatically call or text you if any operational readings go outside your predefined thresholds.
