We also have in-house finishing capabilities including automated mechanical polishing, electropolishing, passivation, sprayball (riboflavin) testing, saline testing and FAT testing.

4 SANITARY STAINLESS ASME VESSELS Apache s sanitary vessels offer the very best in materials and construction for long-lasting durability and ease of maintenance. We custom design and fabricate tanks and ASME vessels for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and food & beverage industries to meet your exact requirements. We appreciate your stringent requirements for purity and quality and can tailor any project to your specific usage needs. From pressure vessels, dryers, evaporators, holding tanks and mixing vessels with heat exchange surfaces, we fabricate tanks and vessels using stainless, AL6XN, Hastelloy, and other high alloy materials. We manufacture our own components, heads, supports and other vessel internals to give us greater control over the quality and schedules of our projects. We even have dedicated, in-house vessel finishing capabilities including mechanical polishing, passivation and electropolishing. We manufacture our own vessel components including dimple jacket exchange surfaces, manways, ladders, platforms, support structures, and other vessel internals. We also fabricate tanks with half or third pipe jackets and internal coils. Any size, gauge or configuration, Apache has the experience and capability to meet your needs. Big is Just the Beginning While we have the capability to make some of the world s largest vessels, like this massive 160-foot, 207,000 pound column, it s the little things we do that make the biggest difference. Because we fabricate our own tank components in-house, we are able to closely manage large and small projects giving us one of the best on-time performance ratings available. This huge tank even required us to temporarily move a convenience store sign half way along its 1,000 mile route. 6 SERVICES & OPTIONS In-house Services and Options for Efficiency and Convenience Our in-house capabilities give you all the options you need for a solution to fit your specific vessel requirements. Electropolishing Polishing your vessel to a near-mirror finish not only improves its appearance but also improves its cleanability and corrosion resistance. Electropolishing occurs when the part or vessel is immersed in an electrolyte and subject to an electrical current. Surface projections are gently dissolved anodically, ion by ion, resulting in an extremely smooth finish. Passivation Passivation is recommended as the final cleaning operation after all fabrication operations such as forming, welding, machining and polishing have been completed. The passivation process improves the corrosion resistance in stainless using oxidizing agents. Heat Exchange Surfaces We will work with you to determine the amount of heat exchange coverage needed to successfully process your products. We can fabricate 1/2 pipe, 1/3 pipe, standard dimple, inflated dimple and internal coils and all heat exchange surfaces can be insulated and clad to your exact specifications. Agitation Our engineers work with you to design the best sanitary agitation equipment for your application. We provide a wide range of agitation technologies including scraped surface, high shear, counter rotating, full sweep and turbine. Sprayball and Riboflavin Tests Our team will work closely with your project managers to set the appropriate testing parameters for your finished tank or vessel. Comprehensive sprayball and riboflavin testing is done completely in-house, before your vessel ever leaves our facility. Our strict, standardized, detailed procedures, and experienced quality control personnel, ensure accurate results every time. Material Finishes Whether for aesthetic, sanitary or process reasons, Apache Stainless can finish the interior and/or exterior of your vessel. All material finishing is done completely in-house assuring quality, cost effectiveness and on-time completion.
