1 EXHIBIT B TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN PENSACOLA HABITAT FOR HUMANITY AND SUBCONTRACTOR Scope of Work Electrical Division 155 Electrical Rough Division 235 Electrical Trim General Requirements 1. All Work shall be performed in accordance with manufacturer s printed installation instructions and all local, state, and federal laws and regulations. 2. The Work shall conform to all Codes in effect in the jurisdiction where the work is performed. 3. To promote safety, the jobsite must be kept clean and free of debris at all times. All trash, discarded packaging, boxes, bags, spoils of demolition, damaged and/or waste building materials, and other forms of debris shall be disposed of properly and legally. This subcontractor may use the on site debris container if one is provided by Habitat for Humanity. We encourage recycling and ask you to participate as much as possible on this job. 4. Purchase Orders will be issued for this division of work and the amount of compensation for the Work will be listed on the Purchase Order. 5. Additional work shall not be performed without the written approval of the Construction Director. This approval will be in the form of a Variance Purchase Order. If extra work is performed without prior approval, no payment will be made and if required, the extra work will be removed by and at the expense of this Sub contractor. 6. Pensacola Habitat for Humanity is a tax exempt entity. You will be instructed by our Accounting Department how to handle sales tax. 7. This Sub contractor shall furnish all Labor, Materials, Equipment, and Supplies necessary to complete the Work, unless directed otherwise by statement below. 8. Progress payments for partial completion of the Work will be made on the Friday following the Friday that invoices are received by our Accounting Department. 9. Final Payment will be made after all work of this Scope is complete. a. Payment is based on the pricing for each Division of Work as agreed to by Pensacola Habitat for Humanity, per the attached pricing addendum. Pricing will be by Division for each plan. Payment is made once the required inspections have been passed, as noted below. i. Draw # 1 after Division 155 Electrical Rough is completed. ii. Draw # 2 after Division 235 Electrical Trim is complete.

2 Special Requirements 1. Temporary Service Pole; (price inclusive in base floor plan bid price) a. To be installed within 5 business days of request by Habitat for Humanity Construction Director. b. HFH shall supply the Electrical Subcontractor with the main Building Permit # as soon as it is issued. c. Temporary Pole shall conform to all code requirements and supply both 110 and 220 power. The 110 circuit shall be protected with Ground Fault per code. Plus any changed requirements for 220 circuit per updated 99 National Electric Code. 2. Division 155, Electrical Rough a. Electrical outlet boxes shall be installed 18 above the finished floor, (A.F.F.) to top of box. b. Electric switch boxes shall be installed 48 A.F.F. to top of Box. c. Ceiling light fixture boxes shall be installed centered in usable area, unless otherwise noted on plans. d. Switch boxes in vicinity of vanities must not extend beyond the edge of the vanity, this way they will not be in the mirror. e. All boxes shall extend past rough framing ½ inch (to allow for drywall installation) f. All boxes shall be secured to a framing member, square and level. Three gang, or larger outlets, must be secured with brackets to insure that they stay parallel with wall face. g. Subcontractor must ensure that no electrical boxes are placed behind cabinets. h. Bath vanity light mounting boxes shall be centered over bath lavatories. i. Subcontractor shall verify phone and cable locations with Personal Builders for each home. Where possible, the Habitat for Humanity Construction Director will forward in advance, a marked up floor plan to the Electrical Subcontractor with phone, cable and any change order items noted on the plan. j. Smoke detectors in bedrooms may be installed in ceiling, 1 from doorway, or above doors on the wall. Code also requires a smoke detector outside of each bedroom in the hallway. k. Wiring shall conform to specifications of the Universal electric codes. l. Romex sheathing outside of electrical boxes shall not be cut or stripped. m. Rough wire for door bell, is to be run through brick mold trim on entry door. 3. Division 235, Electrical Trim

3 a. All fixtures shall be hung per manufacturer s specifications. Defective or damaged fixtures are not to be installed and the Crew Leader shall be notified of the situation. b. All light bulbs shall be installed. c. Switch plates shall be installed square and flush with the wall. d. Range to be set by Crew Leader, not by the Electrician. Range Pigtail is supplied by the Appliance Supplier. Range Hood to be furnished and installed as required by the HVAC Contractor. Power wiring is to be done by the Electrical Contractor. e. Furnace and compressor shall be wired to power source. f. Panel in the beaker box and main service shall be labeled. g. Door bell button shall be securely fastened in brick mold. h. Meter base, weather head, and drip loop shall be installed per power company s specifications. i. Subcontractor shall supply temporary power to home only for purpose of checking systems. j. Seal riser through vinyl soffit and clean roof at weather head. k. Install and seal boot at mast to prevent water leakage. 4. Electrical Subcontractor s Specific Responsibilities a. Return trips; The Subcontractor shall return to each house as scheduled to: i.complete and punch out item or correct any inspection deficiency ii.correct any items noted in Walk thru process with buyer iii. Complete any required warranty work. Subcontractor is responsible for Warranty for the period twelve months from date of closing. iv. To handle any warranty requests from the Construction Director as a result of workmanship. Habitat for Humanity. v.warranty procedures requires emergency response within 24 hours but must be immediate during business hours. Normal Warranty requests are to be handled by contacting the homeowner within 7 days of being notified by Habitat for Humanity Construction Director, and then complete the assigned work order no later than 21 days from notification. Subcontractor must get work order signed by the homeowner at the time the warranty work is accepted as being complete. a. All costs associated with maintaining the Warranty shall be borne by the subcontractor. Habitat for Humanity will not pay any costs associated with Warranty work.

4 b. The Electrical Contractor must treat all Habitat for Humanity customers equally and with due respect. If a customer is uncooperative or impolite please tell them you are going to contact the Habitat for Humanity Construction Director to resolve the problem. Habitat for Humanity customers are the biggest part of advertising, and a bad experience with a subcontractor will not be tolerated. c. To supply all labor, material, equipment and tools to install the electrical system. d. To schedule all inspections in a timely manner, so as not to cause delays to the job. e. Place all trash and debris in specified wire cage or dumpster, if provided. House is to be swept out clean by the Electrical Contractor after each visit. f. The electrical Subcontractor is required to provide a Temporary Power Pole for use during construction. Efforts will be made to allow joint properties to share one pole, but that will not always be possible. The Temporary Pole must be set within Five (5) working days of request from the Construction Director. PENSACOLA HABITAT: n. Responsibilities of Habitat for Humanity Construction Director is to have all necessary work completed prior to scheduled date for the Electrical Subcontractor.
