4 ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS Beyond the plans and specifications Flying Objects and Debris (FOD) FOD must be kept to a minimum. The site must be kept clean from flying debris, dust and dirt at all times. It is imperative that all contractors keep the site free from any air borne debris as it affects the operation of the airside business of the airport. Flag Man All contractors to assume the responsibility of a flag man and traffic control for their work. Existing Roads All contractors to assume the responsibility of keeping the Owner s road clean and debris free for their work. Scheduling 1. Excavation: Award of contract: by Friday, August 29, Start on-site: September 2, Completion: November 7, Site Services: Award of contract: by Friday, August 29, Start on-site: September 2, Completion: November 14, 2014.

5 TENDER CRITERIA: PART 1 General Requirements: 1. Contractor to submit at the time of tender a current liability insurance certificate in the amount of $5 million dollars 2. Contractor to submit with tender at least four (4) projects of similar size and value that they have completed in the past complete with references. 3. Contractor to confirm at the time of tender they are able to meet the schedule of this project.
