1 DATA SHEET DESCRIPTION REVECORK is a: Thermal coating: reduces heat and cold flow Acoustic coating: reduces the aerial and impact noise Elastic coating: supports contractions and expansions Multi-adherent coating: adheres on all construction materials, including iron, galvanized and aluminum It is eco-friendly based on particles of vaporized natural cork and is impermeable, cross-linkable, highly breathable and elastic emulsion (300%) that supports rain water, sea water and saline mist. Application can be applied using a brush, a paint roller (numbers 1, 2 or 3), with rectangular trowel, trowel, proyection machine or airless. Once applied, it remains a continuous and without crossover point support, highly resistant to atmospheric agents. ReveCork colour chart or NCS chart or NOVA availability upon request. The product is to be used as is without being diluted with water. Both for interior and exterior use. PROPERTIES Among it's multiple applications and properties, we can find: - Ecological: low content in VOC. - Fire performance: M-1. - Thermal insulation: hot-cold; -25º and 190º C (inside and outside) - Anti-misting system: product that eliminates the thermal bridge avoiding the condensation. - Anti nitrate: retains and prevents the occurrence of nitrate in the supports. - Humidity by capillarity: eliminates humidity by capillarity (as in vaporization) - Permeable and impermeable: acts cutaneously. This means that it is 100% impermeable and totally breathable. - Decorative: When applied by brush it offers multiple terminations, for example different reliefs or glazing. - Easy application: product ready to use to be applied by brush, paint roller or airless. 4 FORMATS ReveCork is available in buckets of either 12 or 14KG. Note: The efficiency depends on the application method used (brush, roller, airless). APPLICATIONS ReveCork is a cork-based coating, for both horizontal and vertical surfaces, with unprecedented properties, (Thermal insulation, acoustic insulation, anti-condensation, salt residue-resistant...). This is achieved by the chemical composition of natural cork. Cork is constituted by dead cells, whose interior is filled with a gas similar to air and represents almost the 90% of the cork's composition. This is the main reason for it's light weight and compactness. The wall of these cells, which are like tight compartments, are mainly composed of suberin and cerine, which make it fire resistant, highly flexible and rot proof. Modern technology has not been able to equalize or exceed. As a result, the ReveCork coating can be used in applications as diverse as: - Thermal insulation for both interior and exterior walls - Energy saver for both air conditioner and heating (outdoor applications) - High Durability, guarantee of up to 10 years (always by technical or facultative prescription) - Acoustic Corrector (for thicknesses of more than 3 mm) - Waterproofing for terraces, covers, planters... - Anti Slip system for pool enclosures, walkable terraces... - Avoid interior condensation in bathrooms, windows, beams, nave roofs - Avoid micro-cracks. Because of its elasticity, holds up the expansions and contractions of the support - Protection against rust on metal structures - Beams and pillars coating - Frontage and interior renovation and decoration -Sealant of small and medium sized fissures - As a comfortable base for assembling parquet or laminate flooring In case of doubt contact with our technical department

5 HOW TO USE Preparation of the surface * On new or painted surfaces in good condition, the walls must be cleaned or blasted to remove any dust, pollution or other abnormality. Only in case of concrete walls, these will have to be fixed with an acrylic fixative of fine particle, like FIXATIVE-100. If there are cracks or chipping type pathologies, these should be covered with fiber filler for outside, multi-adherent in case it is possible, like Reve-Elast fiber. Once the surface is fixed and clean, ReveCork can be applied, until reaching the required thickness for each pathology. * In defective or badly damaged supports, the support should be blasted with water under pressure (150 bar), once it is dry, proceed to its repair with structural mortars like REPARATEC R2 or REPARATEC R4 or fiber for outside multi-adherent like Reve-Elast fiber. Once the surface is fixed and clean, a layer of a solvent-based fixative like FIXATIVE-250 should be applied, followed by ReveCork, until reaching the required thickness for each use case. In both cases drying times should be respected. GUARANTEES ReveCork is guaranteed for a maximum period of 10 years according to the surface and geographical location. ReveCork guarantee is always of the product. To request a product guarantee, a prescription will be required for the work or in situ rehabilitation and have to be always accompanied by the applicator and property company. PREVENTIVE MEASURES ReveCork should not be stored for more than 1 year period, provided that it has been treated properly, avoiding direct exposures of sun, frost, humidity... The empty containers must be stored in clean and ready for it points. They must respect the medium-european environmental regulations.
