1 Addendum # 1 October 9, 2017 Sarasota Manatee Airport Authority Renovation of SRQ Airport Authority Boardroom, Police Department & Badging Area The following items represent clarifications, additions, deletions, and/or modifications to the Contract Documents for the above-referenced project. This Addendum shall hereafter be regarded as part of the Contract Documents. Items not referenced herein remain unchanged. Receipt of this Addendum shall be acknowledged below and on the Bid Form. This Addendum consists of 15 pages. The items listed below replace original items previously issued or are to be added to the Bidding and Construction Documents as indicated. PART I PERTAINING TO THE SPECIFICATIONS: Specification section (0.04) o Page 4, The bid form has been revised to include Alternate 4. PART II PERTAINING TO THE DRAWINGS: No Items PART III - CLARIFICATIONS AND RESPONSE TO BID QUESTIONS Question 1: Will an Asbestos Report be provided? Response: See attached Asbestos Report. Question 2: How many copies are required to submit with the original? Are any electronic copies needed? Response: 3 Copies need to be submitted. No electronic copies are required. Question 3: Is there an engineer s estimate available? Response: $1,800,000 is the budget for all three areas Main Street Sarasota, FL T F sweetsparkman.com Question 4: Are there any exterior sign packages that is not in the GC s scope such as monument, pylon, Electronic message center that is not in the GC s scope? Response: Exterior signage is not required.

2 PART IV - CLARIFICATIONS Liquidated Damages will be reduced to $500 for each calendar day beyond the stipulated contract time. Base Bid includes: Boardroom Renovation and Badging Area. Additive Alternate includes: Police Department Area. All equipment and furnishings to be reused will be removed from the areas to be renovated. It is assumed that the selected GC will not be required to move any of these items. Any material left behind will assumed to be demolished or repurposed in accordance with the construction documents. Contract project duration is now 180 days, Notice to Proceed will be given within 30-days of contract execution. Please let me know if you have any questions.
