12 2. Experiences of ISI Inspections 2.1 Applicable Documents In-service Inspection Program STP-TI01, prepared by TQNPC and accepted by NNSA (regulator). All ISI activities must satisfy this Program This ISI Program is produced mainly based on CSA N and CSA N285.5-M90 Presently TQNPC is considering to update the ISI program as per the requirements of CSA N in the next few years

24 2. Experiences of ISI Inspections Steam Generator tubing inspection What we mainly found and how we dealt with the findings during the past inspections: Three tubes were plugged because of the following causes: ---One had a restriction inside the tube near the tubesheet, the probe couldn t get through; ---The other two had indications (about 35% of the wall thickness decrease) found in the outside wall, due to fretting of foreign objects on the secondary side. And those foreign objects had been taken out. ---The rest are all acceptable according to the acceptance criteria.
