Responsibilities include: Contributed to the development and execution of a design of experiments approach to identification of bridges to be included in the program. Conducted bridge documentation studies for advanced data mining and analysis beyond National Bridge Inspection level data. Field team lead for data collection on 12 bridges in the Mid-Atlantic region (Fall 2014). Led reorganization and development of the LTBP Protocols a suite of 150 protocols for data collection, reduction and processing as part of the LTBP Program. Logistics, coordination, and publication development International Bridge Study (Rutgers University) Field technical lead and lead coordinator for a 2-year bridge testing effort including collaboration from experts in Austria, Japan, China, Korea, and England as well as domestic teams from Princeton University, Georgia Tech, Utah State, Olson Engineering, Rutgers University, Drexel University and University of New Hampshire. Lead coordinator for all international and domestic teams Field technical lead for the Drexel University Team Development of finite element model for the selected bridge Instrumentation design and installation for load testing using six trucks (total load of 450 kips) Model calibration and structural identification of the bridge Development of all reports Emergency Load Testing of I-195 (New Jersey Department of Transportation) Field lead and coordinator for truck load testing of a bridge under construction carrying I-195 over the New Jersey Turnpike which was subjected to an hour of extreme temperature and fire exposure resulting from a vehicular accident.

5 Experimental design for load testing instrumentation to minimize traffic interruption on the Turnpike Development of finite element model for response predictions and post-test calibration Field coordination between NJDOT, NJTPK, and a team of six engineers Overall schedule lasted only 12 days, in an effort to reopen the span to traffic Emergency Monitoring of I-495 (Delaware Department of Transportation) Responsibilities include: Installation of tiltmeters to monitor movements of piers with foundation issues due to super load placement in the vicinity of the bridge. Field Testing of Undocumented Bridges (West Virginia Department of Transportation) Field lead and coordinator for truck load testing of three bridges with little to no documentation (cast-inplace concrete multi-girder, filled concrete arch, and a hybrid filled arch prestress girder bridge) located in southern West Virginia. Two bridges had postings removed, providing value to the owner. The third was recommended for immediate posting due to an unsafe condition.
