2 ACO DRAIN ACO Drain is the market leading modular trench drain system and is ideal for coercial applications ranging from petrol stations to airports. ACO Drain systems comprise Polycrete Channels*, factory manufactured modular units made from corrosion resistant polymer concrete. Channels are to be used with grates from a variety of materials for all loading applications. ACO Drain systems are available in 50, 100, 200 and 300 internal widths, and most systems have a builtin slope for up to 40 continuous metres. The ACO Drain brand is segmented into different product ranges, dependent on use. 1. Standard Products KlassikDrain PowerDrain SlabDrain 2. Specialty Products Brickslot MiniKlassik Grated Pits SlabDrain SlabDrain is available in 100, 200 and 300 widths and is a shallow invert trench drain comprising modular Polycrete Channels*. The range is ideal where site depth restrictions are of concern. Each interconnecting unit is manufactured complete with integrally cast metal edge rails. A variety of grates is available in different materials and styles up to load class G (AS 3996). This is equivalent to approximately 30 tonne wheel load. There is also a specialist range of grates marketed under the trademark, Heelsafe AntiSlip. 3 Product overview SlabDrain ACO DRAIN H100K/H200K/H300K Integrally castin galvanised steel edge rail provides additional strength and protects channel body from damage. (Stainless steel edge rail also available). QuickLok on H100K/H200K/ H300K patented, boltless locking system provides quick fitting and removal of grates. Helps reduce installation, maintenance time and cost. Shallow depth either 80 or 100 (H100K) H100SK/H200SK/H300SK Integrally castin ductile iron edge rail provides maximum strength and protection for channel body. H100SK/H200SK/H300SK Ductile iron grates heavy duty grates to load class G (approx. 30 tonne wheel load). PowerLok a patented, boltless locking system that provides quick fitting and removal of grates. Shallow depth 130 (H200SK & H300SK) Interconnecting end profiles allow easy and effective joining of channels. SF Sealant Groove a groove is cast into the ends of every channel. The combined groove allows for a bead of appropriate flexible sealant to be inserted at joints, if required. Knockouts are included on all channels to allow vertical outlet connection to the pipework. 3

Heelsafe AntiSlip grates At ACO, we believe that pedestrian friendly grates and slip resistance go hand in hand. The grates with the trademark, Heelsafe AntiSlip comply to AS 3996, Clause Surface Openings in Pedestrian Areas and all the specific user requirements described opposite. A slip resistance classification is assigned to these grates. AS 4586 sets out two recognised tests that determine slip resistance: oilwet inclining platform test ramp (Rrating) and wet pendulum test (Prating). HB 197 references AS 4586 by specifying the minimum slip resistance ratings dependent on the application. SlabDrain s range of Heelsafe AntiSlip grates is available in plastic, stainless steel and ductile iron, for more information visit SlabDrain s Heelsafe AntiSlip grate range (HK Series) QuickLok boltless locking system Comprises a spigot fitted onto the grate and a removable QuickLok bar in the channel, the QuickLok system locks the grate to the channel by aligning the spigot over the bar and applying pressure until they snap together. With no loose bolts or bars, QuickLok provides a secure boltless lock that is still easy to take apart for maintenance and cleaning. This saves time and money during installation FIT LOCKING BAR FIT GRATE GRATE REMOVAL Locate locking bar in recesses, rotate and use haer to tap securely into place. Serrated ends grip in recess. H200K/H300K channels use plastic safety clip to hold in place. To install grate, align QuickLok spigot directly over locking bar. Push down or stand on grate until it clicks into position. To remove first grate, insert grate removal tool into slots at end of grate; pull up sharply. Remaining grates can be removed by hand. To remove bar, insert screwdriver into hole at end of bar and lever back serrated end; rotate bar free. 4

7 ACO DRAIN PowerLok boltless locking system To open PowerLok, insert tool between rail and PowerLok device. Rotate tool 90 ; PowerLok device should push away from rail. To close, place hook part of tool into V and push towards rail. PowerLok safety clip (optional) For areas of security or safety concerns, the PowerLok safety clip provides a visual alert to confirm the grate is locked and secure. The safety clip pushfits next to the locked PowerLok device. Safety clip sits flush with grate surface and grate cannot be unlocked. To open PowerLok device, the safety clip must be removed. If no red block is visible, the locking is not guaranteed. This provides a visual alert that grates may not be locked. Other complimentary systems SlabDrain is ideal for shallow slab areas where vertical depth is limited. For other challenging applications, ACO also offers a range of Specialty products. Specialty Products Brickslot MiniKlassik Grated Pits Brickslot is a discrete, drainage solution for use with brick or stone pavers up to 63 deep. The 10 steel slot (galvanised or stainless) blends in with paving joints giving an aesthetic solution. The Brickslot unit is typically used on the KlassikDrain K100 channel, but can also be used on the SlabDrain H100K channel if depth restrictions are a concern. An access unit provides discrete access to the channel or inline pit for maintenance. Compact trench drains for high profile, aesthetic applications where a barrier is required to separate wet and dry areas. Choice of Heelsafe AntiSlip grates available in stainless steel and ductile iron. For use where an existing pavement has been finished with undulating falls for point drainage, or for the collection of concentrated surface water runoff. Grated pits are available in a wide range of sizes, are lightweight, easy to transport and handle. Choice of grates in 3 styles including Heelsafe AntiSlip. 7
