WORLD BANK CREDIT NO: IDA 4653 IN ***** INVITATION OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THIRD PARTY QUALITY CONTROL CONSULTANCY SERVICE Procurement Notice.MT()/DPSU/TPQC//204-5, Dt: Sub: Ref: Consultancy Services for District wise third party quality control (TPQC) of SVS & MVS of APRWSSP of YSR Kadapa District. World Bank Credit No: IDA 4653-IN. << >>. This Request for Expression of Interest follows the Procurement Guidelines contained in the procurement manual of APRWSSP. 2. The Government of Andhra Pradesh has received a credit from the International Development Association, (IDA) towards the cost of Andhra Pradesh Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Project (APRWSSP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for Consultancy Services for District wise Third Party Quality Control (TPQC) of SVS & MVS of APRWSSP of YSR Kadapa District. 3. The services of this assignment are to closely check the quality of all completed SVS & ongoing MVS under APRWSSP and to provide remedial measures/technical suggestions wherever required. The consultancy shall ensure the quality of the materials procured on the construction quality of the works, Also the consultancy shall find and certify service levels from flow meter readings, certify water tightness of structures and pipelines which are being executed; The payments, for the services will be on output based for each task for which the consultant is required to quote his reasonable rates. The consultant shall offer his services within scope of the TOR. 4. The desired qualifications of the consultancy are: a. The consultancy shall be a registered firm. b. The consultancy should have experience in similar nature of services especially RWS&S works for at least 3 years c. The consultancy should engage at least 3 qualified Engineers in each district, who have experience for at least 3 years in RWS&S works, d. Retired Engineers who have experience in RWS&S works can be included in the Consultancy e. Polytechnics/Engineering colleges of the districts who have civil engineering department can also give their expression of interests (EOl).

2 5. The Project Manager, DPSU, APRWSSP, YSR District Kadapa now invites eligible consultants/firms to indicate their interest in providing the above services. Interested consultant agency must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services as indicated above (Brouchures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff etc.) along with the following information: a. Name, address, facsimile number, ID and website address. b. Number of status in the country in which the film has branches/offices, giving full addresses of the branches/offices. c. Organizational structure. d. Details of Project experiences as Individual Construction Quality Surveillance consultant in similar assignments in the past 3 (Three) years. 6. A consultant will be selected as per the procedure of consultant qualification (CQ) method contained in accordance with the procedures set out in the procurement manual of APRWSSP. 7. The tests to be conducted by the consultant are &2. The agencies/firms are requested to quote their rates including all the charges. 8.
