ELECTRICAL SAFETY INSPECTION REPORT. ANTIM KNIT COMPOSITE LTD., Barpa, Rupshi, Rupgonj, Narayangonj, Bangladesh. Factory List: 1. Antim Knit Composite Ltd. 2. Antim Knitting & Finishing Ltd. Inspected on March 24, 2014

SUMMARY Antim Knit Composite Ltd. is consisted of two 7 story buildings and 7 sheds. The factory is a sister concern of Antim Group. It was constructed in 2006 and the production began in At the time of survey, the factory reportedly had 3,500 workers on a regular basis. The Factory was surveyed for electrical safety by Woosun Energy and Construction Co., Ltd. (WEC). The purpose of the survey was to identify significant electrical safety issues and to provide recommendations for remediation based on applicable standards specified by the Accord. The scope of this initial electrical safety inspection was limited to the review and identification of major electrical safety issues. The inspection did not include identification of minor deficiencies, which would be further addressed as part of follow-up inspections. Table below summarizes the major electrical safety issues identified during the inspection. Recommendations have been provided to address each issue. An implementation schedule shall be developed by the factory to remediate each of the findings. The specific timing of improvements, including any requested extensions due to design / installation constraints, shall be submitted to the Accord for approval. ANTIM KNIT COMPOSITE LTD. Page 2 of 7

E- 1 CABLE RACEWAYS & DUCTS Steam pipe line and cable raceways touching Extend ther air gap between the electrical cable raceways/trays and steam pipe line. Or, wrap the steam pipe line with proper insulation to minimize the heat dissipation into the surroundings and nearby cables. Steam line and cables touching 3 Months E- 2 The rubber mats infront of the panels and distribution boards are inadequate in size and in some places, it is missing. Provide the rubber mats in front of all the panels with proper size and grade. Insufficient rubber mats E- 3 Wet floor around panel. Electrical facilities in dyeing & washing sections, shall be installed at a safe height and the panels shall be IP rated to avoid damages from the ambient moisture. 4 E- 4 Accessibility to distribution board obstructed. Items and materials around/near panel(s) must be cleared. Water bucket stored in front of the panel E- 5 Wirings in flexible PVC conduit entering panels are not firmly fixed. Wiring in PVC flexible conduit entering panels must be firmly fixed at the panel (base / Top) using socket and check nuts. Inside view of the panel E- 6 GENERATOR ROOM Insulations in the cables are scratched off to fit into cable glands Insulations in the cables must not be scratched/ removed more than it is required for the connection lugs. 5 E- 7 Burnout sign visible at terminal(s) inside panel. Check and tighten connections. Overloading may be one of the causes. Burnout signs in connection E- 8 The connection nuts, bolts and washers are rusted All the connection nuts, bolts and washers must not be rusted and worn out. Replace them with new rustfree nuts, bolts and washers Rusted terminals E- 9 Excessive wires crowding inside the panel. Additional panels may be installed by redesigning the electrical distribution systems to ease crowing inside panel. Undressed wirings inside the panel ANTIM KNIT COMPOSITE LTD. Page 5 of 7

E- 10 Wire terminating to MCBs inside panel are looped. Wiring looped at MCB terminals may be replaced by installing additional Bus bars to distribute different circuits. Bundled cable E- 11 Barrier/separators between different phases are not Install separators between different phases of MCCB. Standard separators provided by the MCCB manufacturer must be used. No phase seperators E- 11 Barrier/separators between different phases are not Install separators between different phases of MCCB. Existing phase separators fabricated from insulating materials may not provide the required insulating properties for the type of MCCB Missing phase barriers ANTIM KNIT COMPOSITE LTD. Page 6 of 7

E- 13 Barrier/separators between different phases are not All the power outlet sockets must be fixed either on walls/trays/bbts. Etc. and it shoudn t be left loose and hanging on connecting cables Loose and unfixed power outlet sockets E- 14 Goods in store/godown are stacked high and close to electrical fittings Stacking of goods in store/godown must be stacked maintaining sufficient gaps between hot electrical fittings Finished goods stacked close to electrical fittings E- 15 CABLE RACEWAYS & DUCTS Ends of cable ducts are not covered. Open ends of covered cable ducts must be covered. Uncovered cable trench 3 Months ANTIM KNIT COMPOSITE LTD. Page 7 of 7
