4 Transfer Films Scapa adhesive transfer films are used to replace hot melts and other messy assembly adhesives with safe, economical, room-temperature adhesive systems. The Unifilm Series of high-performance, pressure sensitive adhesive transfer films provide excellent adhesion to a wide variety of substrates including untreated polyethylene and polypropylene. These products die cut easily and conform to intricate contours while offering excellent quick-stick and environmental durability. Ultrafilm T Series products feature a thermoformable plastic liner that eliminates the dust, cockling, and tearing experienced with standard paper liners, and facilitates in-line lamination and die cutting of high-volume components. Typical applications for Scapa adhesive transfer films include: Foam fabrication Gasketing Picture framing Splicing of paper and plastic films Decorative trim attachment General-purpose bonding Release Liner 2
