3 Why TACCIMO? Traditional forest management tools will be effective in adapting to climate change, but these tools may need to be used in new and more frequent ways Several Forest Service mandates to address climate change impacts in forest planning and management work but few veteran climate change scientists in the agency TACCIMO was designed to bridge the gap in climate change information supply and demand, in a standardized, accessible way 400,000 Years of Antarctic CO 2 and Temperature Change

4 TACCIMO Fundamentals TACCIMO enables users to keep pace with and accurately consider climate change in natural resource management activities TACCIMO is a web based assessment and reporting tool that substantively connects science and planning information TACCIMO includes an interactive mapping tool, detailed user guides, training, and durable connections with climate change scientists 1. Planning Management conditions and capabilities to address climate change 2. Science Physical and biological impacts of climate change and potential management options 3. Report Custom and synthesized account of science and related planning

5 Climate Change Projections Climate Change Science Land and Resource Management Plans Input Output Basic Report (State & Private) Feedback Current Situation Report (CSR)
