2 SECOND CALL The Mexican Association of Food Science (AMECA) invites researchers, professionals, students and industry-related individuals to participate in the Congress: Latin Food th Food Science, Biotechnology & Safety Congress & Food for Health 2018 Symposium This congress will take place from November 14 to 16, 2018, at the Hotel Marriot Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa. 4 Volunteered Oral and Poster Presentations Presentation of the papers in the Congress and their inclusion in the book of abstracts is subjected to the registration of at least one of the authors who must pay their registration fee to the event no later than Monday, October 15, 2018 according to the following schedule: REGISTRATION FEES Before October 15, 2018 Professional Member of the AMECA MX$ 3, (US$ ) Professional non-member MX$ 4, (US$ ) Student Member of the AMECA MX$ 1, (US$ 50.00) Student non-member MX$ 1, (US$ 85.00) After October 15, 2018 Professional Member of the AMECA MX$ 3, (US$ ) Professional non-member MX$ 5, (US$ ) Student Member of the AMECA MX$ 1, (US$ 60.00) Student non-memeber MX$ 2, (US$ ) One registered autor may present up to two works either in poster or oral presentation. Note: Registration fees for members are for those students or professionals that have paid their membership fees for the years If you have participated in a previous event organized by AMECA, you only have to pay your membership fee (MX $ 1,500.00) to be a regular member.

5 MEMBERSHIP The membership fee for the biennium Professional Member MX$ 1, (US$ 75.00) Student Member MX$ (US$ 25.00) AMECA obtains its operating funds from the members' fees, while the congress is financed through the registration fees of the participants. This is why no delegates will be exempted from the payment of her/his registration fee. PAYMENT Membership fee and/or registration fee to the Congress should be made in the name of the ASOCIACIÓN MEXICANA DE CIENCIA DE LOS ALIMENTOS A. C., in the BANAMEX account number: or by electronic transfer to BANAMEX, CLABE: It is very important to send the proof of payment to the electronic address clearly indicating the name of the member/participant, so that the payment can be identified and the membership and/or registration can be duly registered. NOTE: Official SAT invoices issued by AMECA, will be sent as from September 30th. In the case of delegates needing to pay and receive official SAT invoice before September 30, they can do so through the COMITIVA company.
