3 COOPERATION AT NATIONAL LEVEL The activity of the AGFR (Romanian General Association of Refrigeration) was a complex one, in the fields of education, research and production, having tight bounds to other associations in Romania. AGFR has a very good cooperation with the Patronage for Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning of Romania (PFACR). AGFR has a very good cooperation with the Faculty of Building Services and the Technical University of Civil Engineering in Bucharest; AGFR in close cooperation with the Environment and Forests Ministry and relevant international bodies

4 COOPERATION AT INTERNATIONAL LEVEL The AGFR has already a long standing and worldwide cooperation with various organizations and bodies, such as: UNEP - United Nations Environment Programme UNIDO - United Nations Industrial Development Organization EC - European Commission IIR - International Institute of Refrigeration REHVA - Federation of European Heating, Ventilation and Air - Conditioning Associations ASHRAE - American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning

16 EU 842/ 2006 REGULATION According to the instructions of the Ordinance of the Environment and Forests Ministry No.2682/2011, the AGFR certifies operators (companies and personnel) carrying out the activities mentioned at art. 2, align.(1) and (2) of the EU-Regulation (CE) 303/2008, as well as the personnel carrying out the activity mentioned at art. 1 of the EU Regulation (CE) 307/2008, based upon the results obtained either by means of theoretical and practical evaluation at the end of a given professional training, as it is established at art. 8, align. (1) of the EU-Reg. (CE) 303/2008. According to the instructions of the Ordinance of the Environment and Forests Ministry No.4048/2012, the AGFR is organizing training courses.

17 CONCLUSIONS AND FUTURE WORK Romania starting 2007 as a member of EU is updating its own legislation and implementing new European Regulations; AGFR PFACR - Cooperation Agreement and Working Group Established to solve problems (certification of the professional skill of companies and specialists working in refrigeration and air conditioning); Training; National and international level cooperation with similar organizations.
