Will irritate the eyes, nose and throat and skin. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not inhale spray mist. When opening the container, preparing the spray and using the prepared spray wear elbow-length PVC gloves and face shield. After use and before eating, drinking or smoking, wash hands, arms and face thoroughly with soap and water. After each day s use, wash gloves, face shield and contaminated clothing. FIRST AID: If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre. Phone If swallowed, and if more than 15 minutes from a hospital, induce vomiting, preferably using Ipecac Syrup APF. Use Knapsack or Power Sprayer at 700 ml/m 3, especially when newly fallen or freshly peeled logs. Use only on wood which will absorb the solution. Retreat when reinfestation occurs. Apply at 1 L/20m 2 of surface area. Apply at 1 L/20m 2 of surface area by spray or brush. Borer flight holes may also be injected with product using a small syringe. Bottle label ancillary Panel 2 GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: LARGE SCALE AND COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS: Agitate mixture frequently and replenish dip as required. Applications in diesel will survive up to 3 months in open. Water and light oil applications should be protected to achieve maximum effectiveness of up to 3 months. RENTOKIL BORER INSECTICIDE may be mixed with either diesel, light oil, or water. Choice of carrier depends on anticipated exposure to water. Total exposure requires diesel. For timber under shelter, use light oil or water. This product may be applied as a surface spray on felled logs, posts, poles and sawn timber, or may be used as a dip. DOMESTIC USE, FURNITURE, SAWN TIMBER: Mix with non-staining oil or kerosene. Timber may be sanded back before treatment. Apply product by spray or brush. Borer flight holes may also be injected with product using a small syringe. PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS AND ENVIRONMENT: Local Water Authorities should be advised of the proposed use of this product. Harmful to fish. DO NOT contaminate streams, rivers or waterways with the chemical or used containers. STORAGE AND DISPOSAL: Store in the closed, original container in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area, out of direct sunlight. Rinse containers before disposal. Add rinsings to spray tank. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site. Dispose of at a local authority landfill. If not available bury the containers below 500mm in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose clear of waterways, desirable vegetation and tree roots. Empty containers and product should not be burnt.
