4 CONTROLS AND ACCESSORIES CONTROLS AND ACCESSORIES Pressure Regulator The pressure regulator is a self-contained, direct-acting, pressure-reducing type designed primarily for use with a SCBA (selfcontained breathing apparatus) air cylinder. Inlet pressures up to 6,000 psi (413.7 bar) are adjustable to constant working pressures up to 300 psi (20.7 bar). The pressure regulator is designed to mate with a CGA-346/347 adapter fitting. Dual Deadman Controller Single input/dual output controller incorporating quick disconnect hose fittings and dual push-button controls to apply and release air pressure to either one or two Rescue Struts. Two gauges are provided to monitor the air pressure applied to either one or two Struts and a 250 psi(17.2 bar) relief valve is incorporated to limit the applied air pressure. An adjustable carrying strap is provided. Air Supply Hose Paratech s custom 3/8 in(9.5 mm) inside diameter supply hose comes in three lengths, a variety of colors and equipped with quick disconnect hose fittings. The hose is designed for a working pressure of 300 psi (20.7 bar) and a temperature of - 40 F(-4.4C ) to +150 F(65.5C ).

6 LONG SHORES AND EXTENSIONS LONG SHORE AND EXTENSIONS The Acme Thread Long Shore System consists of five sizes of extendable Long Shores ranging from 35.5 in (90.2 cm) to 198 in (503 cm) Each Long Shore consists of a 3-1/2 in (8.9 cm) aluminum alloy tube with a 3 in (7.6 cm) aluminum alloy threaded shaft that can be extended manually or activated by air, carbon dioxide or nitrogen. The Acme Thread Long Shore allows soft placement at collapse incidents and can be safely secured with a minimum of shock to the load. 7 DEPLOYABLE RAKER KIT PARATECH LONG SHORES AS A DEPLOYABLE RAKER SYSTEM PARATECH offers the necessary accessories to convert our Long Shores into a fully deployable raker shore system that is fast, strong and easy to install. Paratech s innovative Raker accessories and Long Shores meet US&R requirements for strength and deployability. The Paratech Long Shore System offers unique features and benefits ensuring proven performance every time the system is deployed. The Shoring Hammer head is square for easier corner access and has a spanner wrench to install or remove Rescue Struts and Longshore. With three options for nail pulling, 2 pry bars and two open slots for gas shut-off valves, a 9/16 (14 mm) open ended wrench on the claw end, the Shoring Hammer is perfect in a variety of rescue situations. The Trench Cushion Kit includes the equipment you need to quickly and safely support your shoring panels. With our proven trench bag system you can significantly reduce the time needed to backfill your shoring panels and maintain a vertical surface for support. The Trench Cushion Kit includes two low pressure square cushions with a 3.25 ton (3 M ton) capacity that can fill up to an 18" (46 cm) void. Each cushion is fitted with o-ring harnesses for ease in lowering into the trench and a yellow centering cross to help in positioning the cushions along the sides of the trench wall. The kit is completed with two single cushion controllers, 1" X 20' (2,54 cm X 66,1 m) red and blue connecting hoses, and a 3/8" X 16' (0,95 cm X 4,8 m) high pressure hose.
