I am pleased to advise that, in addition to your current portfolio responsibilities, you have been appointed Associate Minister for ACC. I have asked Hon Iain Lees-Galloway to prepare an appropriate letter to you on your Associate Ministerial role in the ACC portfolio, and to consult me on the responsibilities you will have in that role. 15 7 September 2018 Hon Iain Lees-Galloway Parliament Buildings WELLINGTON Dear Iain As you know, with Ms Curran s resignation today, I have appointed Hon Peeni Henare to be the new Associate Minister for ACC. You will therefore need to prepare an appropriate letter of delegation to Mr Henare and to consult me on the responsibilities he will have in that role. It may be that you consider the substance of the delegation should be the same as Ms Curran s former delegation in the ACC portfolio, but you may wish to make some changes to its content. The draft letter should be sent to the Secretary of the Cabinet, for my consideration, before it is finalised. The Cabinet Office will be in touch with your Office about this. The Schedule of the Responsibilities Delegated to Associate Ministers and Parliamentary Under- Secretaries, which is maintained by the Cabinet Office, will be updated in due course.
