3 The requirement is for the Provision of Monitoring, Maintenance, Servicing, breakdown repair and refurbishment of Combined Heat and Power (CHP) scheme equipment. The requirement has been divided into 2 lots as follows: Lot 1 The Monitoring, Maintenance, servicing, breakdown repair of Combined Heat and Power (CHP) schemes located on United Utilities Waste Water treatment sites. Lot 2 Is for the provision of spares, consumables, and mechanical components for Jenbacher Engines and the ancillary equipment. For further details please refer to the ITN documents (issued in final draft with the PQQ). 4 The purpose of this tender process is to award Framework Agreement in 2 lots. Lot 1 is for the provision of monitoring, maintenance, servicing, breakdown and repair of CHP Schemes on specified sites. The intention is to make a single award for Lot 1, Suppliers will be required to have the ability to fulfil all of the requirements for the CHP Scheme. Please refer to the ITN documents (Issued in final draft with the PQQ) for further details. II.2.5) Award criteria Price is not the only award criterion and all criteria are stated only in the procurement documents II.2.6) Estimated value Value excluding VAT: GBP II.2.7) Duration of the contract, framework agreement or dynamic purchasing system Duration in months: 36 This contract is subject to renewal: Yes Description of renewals: This is an on going requirement and will be subject of renewal following the expiry of the term of the Agreement (Maximum 36 months). II.2.4) Description of the procurement The purpose of this tender process is to award Framework Agreement in 2 lots. Lot 2 is for the supply of spares, consumables, and mechanical components for Jenbacher Engines and ancillary equipment on UU maintained sites. For lot 2, there are 3 subcategories, Suppliers will be required to fulfil all of the requirements for each subcategory, the intention is to make up to three awards for Lot 2. Please refer to the ITN documents (Issued in final draft with the PQQ) for further details. III.1.8) Legal form to be taken by the group of economic operators to whom the contract is to be awarded: In the case of an award to a consortium, alliance joint venture etc., all members shall be required to contract in any 1 of the following forms: 1) Contractual Joint Venture with joint and several liability under English Law; 2) Corporate Joint Venture; 3) Contractor / Subcontractor relationship. Where a company representing a consortia, alliance, or joint venture expresses an interest, the Company who responds to this notice will be deemed to be the lead bidder to whom all communications will be addressed. Subcontracting will be permitted. (access the link contained in section 1.1) of this notice. This must be fully completed and submitted prior to the closing date and time specified in his notice. To ensure that the process is open, fair and transparent during Pre qualification, all answers to pre qualification questions shall be provided via the broadcast messaging system on the Portal. The Portal should therefore be reviewed regularly by Applicants.
