3 NOTICE INVITING TENDER Corporation Bank invites Sealed Tenders from original equipment manufacturers, eligible established System Service Provider, Authorised Distributors / Dealers of Precision Airconditoners in Karnataka State Region for Precision Air-conditioning Work in Data Recovery Center of Bank as per following details: 1. Name of the Work :: Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Packaged Precision Air-conditioners in Data Recovery Center of the Bank. 2. Approved Make of the Air-Conditioners :: Emerson- Liebert/ Stulz/ Uniflair/Mitubhushi 3. Period Of Issue Of Tender Forms :: From up to Last Date and Time For :: On or before up to 3.00 P.M Submission of Tenders 5 Date and Time of Opening Of Technical Bid :: On at 4.00 P.M 6 Validity of Tender :: 90 days from the date of opening of Tender 7 Cost of Tender Form :: Rs 1000/= ( Rupees one thousand only by way of Demand Draft of a scheduled Corporation Bank drawn in favour of Corporation Bank payable at Mangalore, Non refundable.) 7 EMD Amount:: :: Rs 31,000/= ( Rupees thirty thousand only) by way of Demand Draft of a scheduled Corporation Bank drawn in favour of Corporation Bank payable at Mangalore. 8. Time of Completion of work :: 60 days from the date of issue of work order by the Corporation Bank 9. Process of issuing of tenders documents The complete tender documents can be purchased from the office of the Asst. General Manager, Premises Division, Corporation Bank Head Office, Mangaladevi Temple Road, Pandeshwar, Mangalore: between AM and P.M. on all Bank working days from to on submitting the following documents personally / through post/ ( Xerox copies to be attested by Notary). a) Request letter for issuing application and communication address with valid address on letter head. Valid address is to be provided by the applicant as any changes/ modifications/communications will intimated through only b) Non refundable D.D in favour of Corporation Bank payable at Mangalore, for Rs 1000/= towards cost of Tender form. c) Copy of Dealership/ Distributorship certificate of the respective Brand of the AC for which applicant is intending to quote. d) In case of original equipment manufacturer, in the request letter he should provide declaration that he is OEM for the precision air conditioners. e) Technical Data broacher of the respective model of the AC for which applicant is intending to quote. f) Copy of proof for 5 years experience in the field of air conditioning. g) Address of the Authorized Service Center/ Agency for servicing of Precision Air Conditioners. h) Copy of PAN, TIN and S.T Reg Nos. 10. Tenders are to be submitted in the sealed envelope cover enclosing Technical & Price Bid duly super scribed Tender for Precision Air-conditioning work at DRS, Head Office, Mangalore and to be dropped in the Tender Box kept at the Premises Division, Head Office, Mangalore. 3

4 11. The Tenderer must use only the Tender forms issued by the Bank for the purpose to fill in the rates. Intimation of Tender quoted by letter, Telegrams / Telex / Fax will not be acceptable. 12. Tenderers are advised not to make any alteration/modification in the Tender documents, item of work or in any respect whatsoever. Violation of this requirement will make the Tender liable for rejection. 13. In case of postal delivery, the Tenderer has to ensure that Tender is reached Tender Box kept at the Premises Division before the due date and time. The Bank will not be responsible for damage in the transit or delay in the receipt of tender, if any or sent by a special messenger. Tender received late beyond the scheduled date and time shall be rejected. 14. Every page of the Tender document should be signed by the person or persons submitting the Tender in token of his/their having acquainted himself/themselves with the General and Special Conditions of Contract, Specifications etc., as laid down in the Tender. Any Tender with any of the documents not so signed will be subjected for rejection. 15. No consideration will be given to a Tender received after the time stipulated above and no extension will be allowed for submission of the Tender. 16. The Corporation Bank shall not be bound to accept the lowest tender and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the Tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever. Sd/- Asst. 5 PRE-QUALIFICATION CRITERIA (Notary Attested Documentary proof for each item is to be furnished with tender request letter) BIDDERS SHOULD FULFIL ALL THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE TENDER 1. The firm shall be in the business of undertaking supplying, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of Air Conditioners for Banks/ large office buildings / commercial premises / Industrial houses for minimum period of 5 years ending last day of the month of March Tenderer shall be either original equipment manufacturer or Authorized Distributor of the Company or Authorized Dealer of the Company for Precision Airconditoners in Karnataka State Region 3. PAC manufacturer for which Tenders have been submitted shall have Company Authorised Service Center/Agency at Mangalore with Company Trained Technicians for providing round the clock after sales service during the warranty period and post warranty period./ AMC of the Precision Air Conditioners. 4. The Firm should be registered with Tax Authorities for Sales tax, VAT, IT, Service Tax etc. They shall have valid PAN, TIN, VAT, service tax registration numbers. The documentary proof of registration to be enclosed with the Tender document. 5. The financial capability of the Tenderer shall be supported by copies of the audited balance sheet and profit & loss a/c statements for the last 3 years. ( , , ) 6.
